I have 3 kids @CHBS. One is in elementary and 2 in middle school. They attended prep school prior to CHBS. @CHBS kids tend to come from a more diverse background (read that: some are troubled). My older kids tell me the teachers are actually much better teachers. They have a choice to stay @CHBS or to go back to the prep school. They actually are indifferent so inertia wins and they will go back to CHBS next year. If I have one criticism it is that the teachers let things go too far before discipline. 2 of my kids have done very well there (the elementary and the oldest child). My middle child struggled with the social aspects and trying to fit in. The principal/teachers are decent and very willing to work with parents. Its a good school. But (free advice) get kids to join club/sport to help with meeting appropriate peers.

This is an absolutely outstanding school! We have two children (3rd and K), and attended the school two years now. Academically it rates in the top in Central FL, and the tuition is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
