My kids were behind when we left this school! The education goes down hill after first grade. The principle chases off anyone that is a good teacher. He has chased away the VP, first grade teacher, two second grade teachers, and only likes pretty young teachers. I have heard him refer to a teacher as the golden one because the pastor likes her. I would hate to see what he would do to her if she was not the golden one!!! Most likely what he has done to the others. Hard to believe the Diocese would pick someone as unchristian as this man as the principle!!!!!!!!!!
St. Elizabeth Seton School is the worst expirience my son has in his life. He wrote an essay about it. We dont recomment it, especially if you are not caucasian or if you are not rich. I can give more details but just to think about it make me feel sad. Thanks God we have people and teacher around the worl who really care and do no stereotype. My son wants me several time to report how he was treat by a teacher and how he saw same teacher doing the same to other kids ( screaming and intimidating them). I am sure we are not the only one who has this felling about St. Elizabeth Seton School.
St. Elizabeth Seton School is a hidden treasure! My son transferred mid-year from an out-of-state Kindergarten program and the transition couldn't have gone smoother. His Kindergarten teacher was OUTSTANDING - it was amazing to watch him excel socially, academically and spiritually! The faculty and staff at Seton are professionals who truly have our children at heart. FIVE STARS!
We have three children there now and will add another next year. i can't say enough good things about this oasis of education.
St. Elizabeth Seton has been an answer to our prayers. Our daughter entered the Pre-K 3 program this fall and she has just blossomed. She loves to go to school and is learning more than we would have ever imagined and her social skills have improved by leaps and bounds. . The teachers and administrators are so great it's like having an extended family. We are looking foward to continuing our daughter's education at St. Elizabeth.
A blessing. This is the school with the largest heart, and great work ethic. What ever your check list is, it will be filled by this school. The teachers are loving, but firm. They have high expectations from their students, because they care. Truly Angels. The staff of SES are just as dedicated, and helpful. The teaching of Jesus is present! The children pre-k3 to eighth grade are friends. They look after each other, no bulling. We're so sad to leave the school due to a job. But I offer my prayers to this lovely oasis. May God continue to Bless SES . We wll miss you!
My husband and I recently enrolled our 2 children at SES. We could not be more happy with our choice. The teachers and staff are the most welcoming, caring and amazing group of people. We already feel right at home and our 2 kids love this school. We went from a charter school into SES and there is absolutely no comparison. The school is small enough so that everyone knows your name, but has all of the amenities and programs of a larger school. I would wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone who wants an excellent, values-based education. All of the children are polite, respectful and helpful. The parents are truly the most dedicated, involved group. I visited a ton of schools when were deciding and this is by far the best I have ever been in. We love it!!
Saint Elizabeth Seton Catholic School is the school one thinks of if they went to a small Catholic School up north. The buildings are not 'Naples', but who cares! A quality education is what my husband and I want for our child. There are other schools around that are newer, but if you are looking for the best, then, trust me, Seton is where is happens. The teachers are experienced and care about the kids. The principal and assistant principal get things done.
Saint Elizabeth Elementary and Middle School may not be a bright shinny star on the outside but the inside more than makes up for its exterior modesty. The technology is beyond many Colleges in the Country. The entire Middle School gets their own laptops and does 90% of their work this way. The text books can be accessed through the internet and everything is posted online including homework assignements, test dates and results. The Principal is highly involved and is a great Role Model. The teachers are excellent. The families are supportive and have Christian values which they teach their children.....and it shows. They have an active sports program that is growing and includes a Baseball team, which we love! My kids transferred in last year and I am thrilled we made this choice!
Seton is the type of school you remember when you were a kid - great education, strict, and family oriented. I am 100% happy with the education my child receives each day. I cannot give Saint Elizabeth Seton School a higher rating - thank you to the entire faculty for being great!
St. Elizabeth Seton is what every parent hopes for in a school. After having been unsatisfied at another private school, we decided to switch to St. Elizabeth. It is not fancy on the outside, but the minute we stepped inside and saw the whole community at the daily morning prayer, we knew this was the place for us. Both my children receive personal attention and are excelling academically. Parents are welcome on campus and it feels like family. The teachers are friendly and there is a warmth unlike I have ever experienced at any school. The Principal and Assistant Principal are always accessible and set a professional, yet friendly tone to the school. I am so glad my husband and I decided to make the sacrifice and send our children to this school. I would recommend St. Elizabeth Seton to anyone!
My daughter has attended the public schools for the past five years. She has seen enough fights and things a pre-teenage girl should not be seeing in a school setting. We made the sacrifice to look into private schools. From the moment we walked into the office, we were hooked. The entire admission process was smooth - meeting the vice-principal, getting a tour, having our daughter interviewed by the principal... very impressive. Further, our feelings were confirmed after seeing the amount of learning my daughter has gained compared to the last five years. She has leanred more in one year than I have ever seen before. Thank you to Saint Elizabeth Seton School for providing a great atmosphere to learn.
My husband recently was transferred out of state for work and we had to leave Saint Elizabeth Seton School. This was one of the saddest days I had ever experienced with my four year old daughter. On her first day of school at Seton, she was terrified... but that was it. Mrs. Roberts, the PreK Teacher, changed my daughter's perception of school. She adored her teacher as well as the entire school. Mrs. Roberts made EVERYTHING fun: picking up toys, crafts, working together, and most of all... learning. I never thought a four year old could learn so much in school Having her experience Saint Elizabeth Seton was the best decision my husband and I ever made. We will miss everyone at Seton, but especially Mrs. Roberts - you are a gift!
My son graduated a few years ago from Seton. He now attends Saint John Neumann High School. I feel he was so prepared for high school - the middle school teachers, Mrs. Tenbarge, Mrs. Lyon, and Mrs. Gingras, did a superb job. Thank you for preparing my son for high school.
I currently have two children enrolled at SES and I cannot say enough positive things about the school. The faculty is truly outstanding. Because of the teachers, both my children are working above their peers in other public and private schools and their morals and values are being strengthed right along with their minds. The Principal and Assistant Principal are always accessible and their high standards and expectations set the tone of the school. I have also been very impressed with the level of technology used in the classrooms and how the school librarian has instilled a love of reading in my children. I looked at many schools, both public and private, before choosing SES and I have never regretted or even questioned my decision. I would recommend the school to anyone, with no reservations.
Ses is a big family with teachers that are aware what the students need to continue to the next grade and through life, also it is expressed how lucky we are to have a special school with staff that cares and continue to educate them on our catholic mission through christ.
This is a family oriented school. Parents are encouraged to get involved and mandated to volunteer to ensure their involvement. The teachers are great. The ratio of students per teacher is not correct in the 3rd grade there are 27 kids but in the 7th, 8th grade there are 5 to8 kids. The parents are complaining because there are up to 30 kids in some classes and 5-6 in others. They could combine the the classes with little attendance together and use the teachers to split the other classes.
Excellent academics, great parent involvement in both the sports and academics. An excellent addition to our family!
St. Elizabeth Seton is a wonderful school. There is a small, friendly atmosphere. The Catholic faith is truly alive at this school. The teachers are wonderful and there are many extras for the kids to enjoy.
My fourth grader has been attending SESS since Pre-K and loves it. As parents we feel that a religious education helps us in instilling good values in our children. Because the school is small, the atmosphere is that of a family. We all know each other and our children and we have eachother for support. The education is great!
