The school was alright, but they really weren't that resonable. But my daughter did have a great techer in 3rd grade named Mr.Williamson. he had to leave te school. which was very sad. Since then i don't think it was as great as before.
I would recommend this school because it is excellent, as are their teachers for example Miss Brewster, Miss Tyler, Miss Wonicker because they are super nice and very good people. Cafeteria Staff and all other personal cleaning, maintenance, office staff, very friendly and nice too. Is a perfect school for me, the people working there are not only workers but are just friends and staff and specially Isabel and Roselyn them that only I had the pleasure of knowing they are excellent people, are friendly, efficient in their work and care about children, their health and family welfare, education and emotional. They provide excellent service to our parents and the other society. THANKS to Miss Brewster, Miss Tyler, Miss Wonicker, Principal Miss Stocking, Isabel, Roselyn and other workers for their service and love. May 14 2009
I had my son there for two years. The teachers that he had they were gret. Thanks to them. My son will always remember Shadowlawn. magda
This school is in quite a transition. They have been for several years and it's good to see the present principal is on to other things. I'm sure he meant well but he really seems to have one thing on his mind and that's himself. I'm not sure he hears what parents have to say. He talks the talk but can't walk the walk. I'm not sure it's a very safe place.
I've been bringing my son to Shadowlawn now for three years as an out-of-zone student and I have to say that his education here has been great. He left first grade last year at a third grade reading level. The teachers are committed to the students and their experience and I feel like the lines of communication are open and available to use. I also love the after-school 'Sunset' program and my son has benefitted on all levels at Shadowlawn. During the open house event, my son was proud to show me around to his technology and art classes and introduce me to those teachers also. He has great school pride and actually likes going to school! Thank you Mr. Ferguson and to the staff at Shadowlawn Elementary!
Mr. Fergunson, principal of Shadowlawn Elementary is doing an excellent job. I admire his enthusiasm and the new ideas for the 2005-2006 academic program. Together, teachers, students and us, parents will make of Shadowlawn an A school.
At firt glance, having only a c grade really discouraged me as a parent from wanting to send my child to shadowlawn. After the first quarter, 04/05 i am thoroughly impressed with the staff and teachers. I would rate the quality of my son's education as being far superior to one of our local prestegious 'private schools'. My hat goes off to the entire staff and facualty to doing a superior job and caring for our students as well as they do. Thank you for calming my concerns!
