I've had 3 children go through WNPS, and we love this school! The teaches really do care about their students and their education. The principal is very involved and takes your concerns seriously. And they really encourage parent volunteering. Some negatives...Cafeteria staff are a bit rude and make the kids lay their heads down when they're finished eating. Also, school has no extracurricular activities. That worked out because the community has a ton of sports going on throughout the year. Only problem with that was my kids would build relationships with people from other areas that they never saw at school. Also, my son takes speech classes, and the teacher is pretty rude to the kids and parents.

WNP has some good teachers and just some teachers. Parent involvement is high. The principal rates a 1 with me, friendly on the outside but not so friendly, caring or supportive on the inside. I have heard staff talk to students very harshly, especially the cafeteria workers and I don't mean the cooks or servers.

WNPS is a breath of fresh air!! We relocated here from Wisconsin, where I must say I was very dissatisfied with the overall school system, curriculum, my son's 1st grade teacher (poor communicator and did not want parent's involved). I toured several schools between Santa Rosa and Okaloosa County and I chose this school. The curriculum is top notch and the kids are pushed to do their best and are kept physically active. The drop off/pick-up system and overall security of school is EXCELLENT and we have been very pleased!!

West Navarre Primary School has been the best school my daughter has gone to yet. Mrs Rohrig, Her teacher was the best teacher I have ever encountered. She is very sweet and good with the children. Mrs Potter, the music teacher is wonderful also. She is very sweet, and very nice to my child Emma. Mr Weaks, the assistant principal is a very nice and involved person at the school. Always very friendly to myself and my child. Also, Mr Savage, the gym teacher, is very nice and knows my daughter by name. He is always happy and smiling. It is a very nice and safe school. Loved it.

We moved here from Alaska, and this was an excellent transition for my daughter. Mrs. Jernigan is a wonderful teacher. Not only that, but the entire staff has made this a memorable experience!

I have never had a school that the faculty was so involved with the children. My child is in K. His teacher and the K teacher's aide truly cares weather or not my son is having an ok day. It's just Jan and my son can read 2nd grade books. The music teacher loves the music and tries to teach the kids to love it too. She is simply wonderful. The principal is always in the halls seeing the kids, and he makes time to say hi to each of them by name. As much as I love the staff, I love the teacher most of all. A child will feel very welcome and at home here in this little school. The k class has just 16 kids!

I am very pleased with WNPS. Before attending here my child went to a very highly reguarded, and expensive, private school. From the first phone call requesting information until the last day of school I have been extremely pleased. I would recommend WNPS to anyone.

I don't like this school. I find most of the staff members very ruid and I don't like the way talk to the students. I think that this school has many problems for starters in the unch room....why should the students have to put their heads don after eatting....Most of the luch staff members are ruid to the kids.

I think this school is a great school for many reasons; they have organized teachers which can adapt to each child. The learning is set for the children to reach for the stars and excel. It is amazing how much they can learn from the beginning of K to the end. I am very proud of all the kids and the teacher in my sons K class.
