Like all public schools, there are good and bad things to report. My son graduated in 2008 from Navarre High. His education there was adequate, but not competitive. Teachers and staff were unresponsive to my requests/concerns. A few of the teachers are truly outstanding; but most seem to be just punching their time until retirement eligible. Since he graduated there has been a change in guidance counselors and staff; so there's hope. But if you have an alternative school available, recommend you enroll your child there rather than in Navarre High. My daughter enters 9th grade this coming year and I am moving simply because I do not want her to enter this school. She deserves a better HS education than the one she'd get if I stay here and she attends , I was looking for a job when I found this one so I'm confident I'll find a job

My daughter loves this school. We have been very pleased with the teachers and staff. She has excelled and is currently the top 10% of her class.

Outstanding school! As a former high school teacher and coach, I am a picky parent. They're not perfect, but strive to be. One son has graduated and another enrolled currently. We've been here for nearly 10 years and see constant efforts to grow and improve.

I am currently attending Navarre High School and overall suprised at its excellence. The teachers are sensational and are good at their job. The staff is very helpful. The safety of the school is spectacular. I can be confidant that I will be well prepared for college and the realistic issues of life after high school. Navarre High School is a great institution.

The school has a lot to work on staff wise. I am a senior at Navarre High School and and honor roll student. I feel ill prepared for college and whenever I interact with school administartive staff most are rude or completely unhelpful. Most of the teachers are top notch but some are not quite as stellar as others. However, on a whole the school is good. Course selection is slim and the halls are crowded but overall the school is safe and a good institution for learning. The only downfall is the administrative staff being rude or ill informed and unhelpful when it comes to helping you academically.

I have a Junior at Navarre High and have been pleased with her experience there overall. There are certainly areas that can improve and the school is very young. The principal has a vision and seems to genuinely care about the students and their well being now and into the future. He won a state award having to do with incorporating technology into this school after his first or second year here. I believe NHS will continue to improve and will build a strong tradition as a school that gives their students the solid footing they need to go out into the big wide world out there. :)

I was in the first class to graduate from Navarre and I loved it. We were able, as students, to mold the direction that our school was going to go in. It was a wonderful experence. I felt the academic programs helped prepare me for college and the life beyond.

Navarre has a great high school. The teachers and staff show a great deal of compassion for students. Students leave NHS with a solid education and great experiences. Navarre High is is a wonderful, supportive and safe place to attend school.
