I am a former teacher at Gulf Middle School and I also had three children attend GMS. My children could have attended any middle school in Pasco County, but I chose GMS because this school has dedicated and caring teachers, administrators, and support staff. The entire staff works hard to motivate all students to reach above and beyond their potential. GMS has many excellent programs that offer opportunities for students to excel in academics, sports, and other extra-curricular areas.

My son goes here and he loves it! The teachers are so helpful. The whole staff is great and i cant imagine going to any other middle school. My son is a honor student there. The teachers really get the kids involved in learning and they make it fun. I love it!

We need to stop teaching the kids the F-cat so much. How can they be graded for studying the fcat for the first 4 months of school.

Gulf Middle School has an amazing academic program. I was in the gifted program there and it's a great program! The sports are great and the volleyball coach is very involved with the parents. She is an amazing woman!

I only visited Gulf Middle once on a preview basis because my daughter is attending there next year. Everyone that we encountered was very helpful and informative.

Teacher quality is excellant overall. There are a few teachers that really care about students, but like all jobs, a few are burnt-out with what they are doing. Overall, most kids are well behaved. There are always a few that seem to give the school a bad name. It is really hard to get the parents involved, but the ones that are, are excellant. This school has a blend of economic backgrounds and it reflects in the FCAT grading (B). I love teaching there because of the administration support, friendly teachers. and the attitudes of the students.
