My son is now in 3rd grade at ECS and I have been very pleased with the academics, teachers, and principal. He is years above other students at public schools. His studies are advanced enough to be challenging but not too difficult for his grade level. The staff is college educated, caring, and dedicated to the education of their students. The principle is a big guy with an even bigger heart. He really cares about his staff, parents, and students. This is a Christian school and students are expected to behave. Your child will be safe and feel welcome here. When you visit ask to check out the SAT scores. You will be impressed!

This school is not "christian" like! The principal is very fake acts like he wants to be there to the parents and is very aggressive to the children! I was in the office and overheard Mr.Foster the principal yelling at a kindergartner. I was very shocked and anything the teachers say about the students are "ALWAYS" true without speaking to the student and he tries to plat GOD and punish or expel any child for any mistake Mr Foster is in the wrong field he should be a correctional officer not a school principal! I have also herd first hand Mr.Foster yelling at a parent to the point she came out crying! This school also has fundraisers all the time and tells the children if they do not sell enough they are not invited to the ice cream party only the kids who sell can go! They had the games to you come to the school and if you did not sell enough the children can not play so kids that sold played the rest sat in class! How christian is that? The school is a joke there were 4 seniors this year!

Overall I'm pleased with my son's experience at Elfers Christian School. If you are looking for a small school with Christian values then you will probably like this school. I think he is getting an above average education from decent and caring teachers.

i love this school's education and staff the teachers are so nice and the education is very advanced. the students in the class are totally different. they are really mean especially the girls there is so much competion with the electives. another problem is that 6th-12th is not acredited.the average ammount of students in one class is between14-18 students and if u stay in that school for many years the kids will be with the same pierce until they graduate and i have gone threw that experience, its terribile because the problems that i have been going threw in 3rd grade was the same in 4th grade and 5th grade with the same girls the akademics is ABEKA which is great but what is better, having a great educational school with MEAN people OR an OK school with good respectful friends? its really a good school exept the kids that are in it. i rather be with the boys then the girls and im happy to say that the boys are very NICE there is no problem with them. its sad that those girls ruined a good school and for that im going to public school for 2011-2012 school year. i hope this helps u :)

Wonderful school! My 3 year old loves his school, his teacher, and all his friends. He has learned so much in his time here. The school is beautiful inside and has a awesome play area around back! I pop in at all different times to pick up my son and the teacher is ALWAYS engaged with the students...coloring, reading, playing, ect. At first I did think the school was really small from the outside..but once I walked in the door, saw the classrooms, and talked with the staff...I was sure this was the school I wanted my son to be a part of. I highly recommand this school to any parent in search of a perfect school!

my daughter goes to the preschool there and has been since she was 18months old she is 4 -years-old now. The teachers are so kind and i nevered worried about issues with the teachers handling my daughter nor the kids being mean to her. She has always talks about her "best friends" even her teacher she says is her best friend:)

I have a child enrolled in this school after having had great success in another local Christian school, but unfortunately we had to change schools because the other school's Pastor was leaving and the future of the school was in doubt. I have NOT been very happy with this school, mostly because how the children act here. The kids are THE MOST unchristian kids that I have ever encountered. They act nice to adults, but to the other kids are very nasty. Discipline seems to be focused on some kids and not others and the kids seem to get away with a lot of stuff that I would, as a parent, definitely not let happen and does not always seem to be fairly enforced. The Principal is very nice and seems to be fair and the faculty is mostly friendly. But, if you're looking for a Christian environment, keep this in mind.

I am a parent of students that went here. The teachers are under educated and the administration is judegemental and negative. The doctring that is taught teaches fear and damanation, not the unconditional love of God. There are many internal issues that create a negative environment. Look elsewhere to send your children spend your money.
