Genesis is the absolute best choice in our area. Both my children went from Pre-k into high school at Genesis. As far as athletics: you may not play all the time, but you make the team no matter what. Academics: 95% of the staff are exceptionally hard working and caring. One of the most important aspects for us, is the safe, quiet, family atmosphere. There is no doubt in my mind, that the individuals my children have become so far, has been positively shaped by their attendence at Genesis School.

Genesis Prep is a great school. Students are challenged for academic achievement and score high on SAT, ACT, and AP testing. Teachers work hard to prepare the students for college. GPS has Merit Scholars and Commended Merit Scholars. The school has given my child the opportunity to excel in academics as well as enjoy playing sports. Genesis was the best choice for my family.

I LOVE this school! My kids have gone all through Genesis and Genesis Prep. The education they received is outstanding. They are in college and in honors programs. The exceptional foundation that they received is the reason why. THANK YOU GENESIS!!!!!!

I'm not sure why all of these other posts are on here. Genesis is a great school and 99% of the students would say so. The teachers take their time to reach out to the students and b/c one or two had a bad experience does not rule out the other 98%. I like Genesis for many reasons but I love the sports there. Not sure how the athletics program is a joke b/c we have won many championships and I love it there!

My child has been at Genesis since kindergarten but only because it's one of the better options in this area. They give way to much homework every night. Math has always been a problem at Genesis. The school has gone through several teachers because they can't seem to find one that can actually reach the students. There are several parents who complained anytime their child was disciplined and threatened to pull them out of the school. The school caters to these parents and students by over looking any misbehavior because all they care about is money. There are a few great teachers there though. Office staff is very rude and disrespectful. The school really pushes the junk food. Their athletic department is a joke. They could care less about sports. There's one spanish teacher for the prep school and the east and west campus. It's the same group of parents that do everything. It's impossible to get the other parents involved. The school always wants more money every year.

Hey. I am a former student of Genesis Prep. I am going to tell you some things Genesis Prep won't tell you. This school goes from 6-12 grade. It costs $12000 a year. That's about $66 dollars a day. Personally, I'd rather have a new car. This was a waste of my parents money. After I left some huge changes were made, here was my experience: To join a sports team it costs $89 or more, not including equipment. The volleyball coach never let me play. I was that one person who never played. She never taught me how to play either! There is something called "snack time" in third, they over price their "snacks" Lunch was really expensive. They don't have a sixth grade science room, we learned it in the spanish and lunch room. . Everything is learned by the text book. . Math homework: Every Night. 30 problems. . Staff is very rude. . Math isn't explained correctly. . They neglect to have a bug spray person come, I kept finding wasp nests everywhere. I was stung on my hand. . Lunch room is about 15x10 There was much more, but after I went to a public school I forgot the bad things. Only good things have happened in my Public School :). Spend $ somewhere else.

Worst invesment I have ever made. I have wasted 12000 dollars at this terrible school. The parent below me agrees. I rate this school a 0 for everything, but I only put a one because they wouldn't let me put a zero. For my daughter this school was very stressful and she never really fit in. The teachers were not great, their teaching abilities are horrible and my daughter would always come home and ask myself or my husband to explain to her the concept. This was extremely disappointing. We had invested a very large sum of money into this school and we didn't see the learning return any of it. Please, to whoever reads this, send your child to a better school. Waste your money, somewhere else. Good luck. Have a Jolly Christmas. (send your child to the best middle school out there, crews lake middle school in shady hils, take my advice.

This is the best choice I had made for my son. This school is absolutely the best school that you can put your child in, certainly worth every penny of investment. Every teacher and faculty always willing and helpful to guide your child every steps of the way. Not to mention that they are super friendly and knows your and your child's name. Lots of after school activities to keep your child busy and active. Up to date with today's technology to help students and parents keep up with the student's grades and homeworks. Teachers, Principal, faculty, and parents all deserve a 5 stars for their involvement and leadership. I am so glad that I found the school and now just waiting to see if I can get my younger son to their other Genesis school. So he will be ready to join with his big brother in the future.
