Profile Completeness

ADVANCED

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I am very happy with the school staff. They are pleasant and willing to assist you with anything. Ms. Danielle, Ms. Burgess, and Ms. Kelly and very understanding and show compassion towards the students. Ms. Cruz has been wonderful with my son and always available to discuss any concerns I have had about my son's performance. Overall the school is doing great. Kudos!

This school is the best because it has helped my child who was struggling in all subject areas. This school helped my child so much and I am now so proud of him. So if your child is struggling, well Imagine North Lauderdale is the best school in this community to send to.

Imagine North Lauderdale is a wonderful school. The campus is beautiful, clean, and safe. The school day is extended so the teachers teach a lot of information. I love this school and prefer that everyone who has a child take them to Imagine North Lauderdale. All staff members show real love to the students. I wish the campus still had a middle school!

My children have been attending Imagine Charter for two years and I have to say that this is the best school my children have attended. Each and every teacher and/or paraprofessional that works or is involved with this school knows my child by first name. The school staff genuinely cares about my kids and their needs. Mrs. Kelly the principal has an open door and always has time for me and my children. I would like to say thank you to this school for making us feel at home each and everyday.

I love this school, ever since I switched my daughter from Royal Palm Elementary and over to this school, she has been doing 100% better. Her teachers are very great. They work hard with her any time she needs help on class work. I love the principle because she doesn't play. The principle makes sure that every staff is on top and doing what they are supposed to be doing. I never have any issues to phone calls from the school about any behavior problems and they always call and update us on any information.

A caring loving environment that meets the needs of children. Since we moved to Florida from Michigan my children have attended school here and all the staff love and care for each student that attends school here. Mrs. Kelly is an amazing principal, she has an open door policy. She makes time for myself and my children anytime.

Imagine School at North Lauderdale has an awesome learning environment. My daughter actually enjoys going to school, not to have fun, but to learn. She was having challenges adjusting to a new teaching style because she was coming from a country where the teaching strategies were different, but the staff has been amazing at helping her with the transition.

This is my daughters first year at Imagine. I was very excited about them attending. The teachers work hard to ensure learning is taking place, but there is a lot going on with behavior and classroom management. Because of this, it makes it difficult for students to go above and beyond. Students do have access to computers, and reading is encouraged. There is an AWESOME After School program called Miss Manners which is an etiquette program. Mrs. Burgess, the School Administrative Assistant is one of the schools greatest assets. There is lots of potential at Imagine. Parent involvement is really needed.

Imagine North Lauderdale is a great school to have your kids in. My son goes to the school and he loves it!! The reason I love the school as a parent is because of their attention to detail when it comes to teaching the students. The different activities the students do daily keeps them focused and excited about learning. I recommend this school to any child about to start school or already in school.

Once again Imagine Charter @ north Lauderdale is under new management. Ms Dahl was not able to move the school forward to receive a better grade and the 'F' remains. With a new principal, new assistant administrators, and very few faces from which the student body can identify, morale is low. The staff is staying long hours in an attempt to learn strategies which will bring success to the student's test scores. For their sake and the sake of the students I hope there is improvement. I also hope that it will be determined by someone that the course that the school took two years ago, (discouraging, not giving contracts to teachers of color was not the the path to take. Children need to see themselves in the adults who model for them.

I am very proud to be a part of the Imagine School of North Lauderdale. The staff is committed to providing academic and character education to the student body. The school has a leader, Ms. Dahl, principal, whose 35 years of experience with the Broward Public schools has helped ISNL build on it's strenghs and identify it's weadness. Ms. Dahl spent many years as a principal and is well-known for her ability to turn schools around. We are looking forward to the 2009-2010 school year. There are many activities planned for the students. Take the time to view our brochure and call the school for the Principal's tour. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I totally agree that the school has taken a 360 degree turn. I visited the school and the principal was very inviting. She was not locked in the office. She gave my husband and I a tour and what her newe expectations for the school were. I am proud of Imagine Charter School at North Lauderdale. Yes! I reenrolled my two children. I have total confidence in the school and the new principal

Imagine Charter School is now have a new principal. School discipline has made a 360 degree turn. Teachers are not afraid to implement new ideas and are ready to teach our students. The schools atmosphere is much better. The principal comes with over 35 plus years of experience from Broward County Public Schools. Her goal is to better the school, teachers and the students. Imagine Charter School is one of the best CHARTER schools in South Florida. I highly recoomend that you come take a campus tour with the new principal. This will be the place you will want to enroll your child. The school service K thru 8 grade. Come check the school out and the new going on's.

If I could rate this school any lower I would. Once again, this schoo is an 'F'. It's really sad to see the school go backwards. The change in administration was not good for the school. The Principal is afraid of the staff and parents. She won't return calls and sits in her office all day. This is the wrong school to send your child if you're interested in your child learning anything.

The school is horrible!!! There is no administration and the principal sits around and does nothing to control the bad asses in the middle school! It should just be an elementary school because they have kids in the middle school who should be in some kind of alternative program. Do not send your kid there!!! Broward County has so many more great schools that you can choose from so don' make the mistake of thinking that your child is going to receive top quality...Because you'd be kiddingyourself and doing them a grave injustice! My child came home everyday with something negative to talk about. The teachers don't teach as much because they are dealing with having to deal with so many behavior issues! Its ridiculous! take my word, don't let your child be another dollar sign for that school!!!!

The teacher quality is a huge concern, there is no leadership and the kids are left to fend for themselves. If you want to avoid worry, chaos and frustration, DO not consider this school.

Behavior problems have increased this past year with police having to be called more than 5 times so far. The teachers have been very helpfull. I wish I could say the same for the administration.

This school is not safe. Students are in danger on a daily basis. Administration blames teachers for all problems at the school. Teachers are nervous due to lack of security and because the school is run more like a business rather than a school. Quotas are maintained to keep funding and violent students are allowed to remain with little or no consequences. When teachers try to get help they are backlashed with threats of termination. The principal recently quit and the school is a sinking ship. Students with 'D's and 'F's are brought in to the school due to maintaining quotas and it drives out the good students. These students with low grades have behavior problems and no other school wants them but Chancellor accepts them because the more students they get the more funding they receive. The school is in the corner of a parking lot and they have no grass field for students for extra curricular activities. Recently the school expanded to include a middle school which is under staffed. Next year they are adding an eighth grade. The facility is too small to handle the number of students which exist currently and the increase next year. Teachers are leaving in droves and not returning because administration allows people in positions of authority with known alcohol problems to maintain these positions and treat teachers and students with extreme disrespect.
