We have been extremely happy with Cornerstone School in Ocala. It is one of the major reasons we moved to Ocala from Micanopy/Gainesville. The teachers and staff are very qualified and teach in an unique environment that is nurturing and allows students to achieve their highest potential. The students always seem to be happy to be at the school, and treat fellow students, teachers, and parents with respect. Academically, Cornerstone provides a challenging environment that fosters not only learning, but the skills for learning, thinking, and reasoning. The teachers and staff are creative beyond description, and find ways to interact with students to keep them engaged and learning in an enjoyable environment. High schools often comment that they love Cornerstone graduates for their magnet programs b/c they are already prepared to learn at a higher level.

Cornerstone is simply the best school in Ocala. It is Ocala's little secret. A small, established school that offers children the chance to grow academically as well as personal growth. I have had 2 children attend and I strongly urge anyone who is considering private school to visit the campus.

This school was a very good school for my child to transition from out of state. We are originally from Alabama and found the staff very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent school!

It is a small school therefore it's student to teacher ratio is great. Last year it was 1:11 and this year it is the same. Teachers take time to really care about each child's needs. Also no tolerance is allowed for rudeness or unkindness.
