We are in LOVE with technology! We try to implement the usage of technology in any way that we can, whether it be with computers, projectors...even cool things like the Ipad, the Itouch, and Mac laptops. We try to engage our students in every way, by using something that they are definitely interested in!

I have been an involved parent for 4 years now even though my daughter has now went to high school. I am involved with the FFA department that teaches childern Agricultural Science and raising animals in there animal program. I have helped with the fund raising for this program to help with supplies need for the housing of the aniamls in order to provide the animals with a safe and clean environment and a safe place for the children to take care of their animals. This program needs the support of the communitee and businesses. With donations of money and supplies. Money for this program will help the school to continue the program and provide the children with the education in this field and the experience and responsibilty for caring and marketing animals.

I attended this school August 2004- May 2007, and I can proudly say that I could never have asked for a better middle school to have attended. The teachers were really caring, and dedicated, and they actually took into consideration the way students would feel about a certain subject. Their elective classes were fun, and very innovative, not to mention high-tech. Their educational classes were fun, and inviting as well. They had a great music department, as well as an awesome art department. They had rules and guidelines that they actually enforced, and they weren't afraid to crack down on students who disruptive, or violent. I loved every minute at the school, and I have made friends that I will have for life. Go OMS!

This is our first year at Ocoee Middle and we are very impressed! Dr.Clark runs a fabulous team of teachers and faculty committed to turning out the best students they can. They are always on top of everything. The teachers really do look after every student. They run a tight ship and are top notch. I like the fact that they don't put up with kids who bully or are trouble makers. They take care of it right away. I am so impressed with Ocoee Middle and the technology that has been made available to them. I wish every school could be run like Ocoee Middle.

I think that Ocoee Middle was a great school! The band program is great and I am really appreciative of that. I am now in 9th grade and I think that I learned the most at Ocoee Middle. I still remember all of my teachers and what they taught. I am especially thankful for the awesome band program!!!

This school is very high tech, my daughter had a labtop that she brought home in the seventh grade and it really improved her grades. Also the school offers a variety of sports and activities before, during, and after school hours. And they send newsletters out every other week that lets you know whats going on with the school. They call you if you child was disruptive. They really get the parents invovled. This school is very nice and I would have liked to have gone there when I was in middle school.

We think Ocoee Middle School is great! The teachers are dedicated, the school clean and well kept, and the students have access to a lot of new technology. Our son had a well-rounded experience at Ocoee Middle. He had great instruction in the basic, core courses and participated in a variety of elective and after school activities. The faculty and staff at OMS were competent, friendly and caring about the students. Our son's teachers communicated regularly about his progress and were always available to answer our questions or concerns. We were impressed with how open the lines of communication were, and found the administration to be just as attentive to the students' needs. We must commend the principal and her staff for their dedication to making Ocoee Middle School such a great educational experience for our son, and for her support of student and parent involvement.

I have one daughter that went to Ocoee and is now a sophmore in high school and one daughter in 8th grade. The experience we have had with the teachers at this middle school has been wonderful. The teachers that my children have had have cared about the kids. That says more than whether they have a degree higher than a bachelor's. I can accept that IF the teachers truly care about the children that they are teaching and from the teachers that we have been blessed with that is what I see. I would recommend this school to anyone that asks. I went to this school myself and let me tell you, the school has improved tremendously. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience that my children and I have had with the teachers at this school.

Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
