Two things stick out to me about this academy. One, the concerted effort to focus on Christ and make Him the center of all that is done. Two, our children are loved and cared for in a very special way by the staff and administration. Our own children have been going to OCA since they started school (6 years now) and we wouldn't want them anywhere else. The staff genuinely care about the students and there is a continued standard of excellence that is sought and established, whether it be educational or spiritual. Growth has been consistent over the past 6 years as the enrollment has went from 71 to 240 for the 2014 year. Some of the teachers have been there for 20 plus years while there have been new hires recently to bring in fresh, new perspectives and to handle the growth. OCA is also accredited. I do wish they offered an athletics program, but hope to see that in the near future. Overall, we are pleased and excited with the direction this school is heading.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
