I attended this school during my elementary years and loved it. I would have stayed but at that time they only went thru 6th grade The staff and teachers were always pushing me to learn and encouraging me to do my best. I am grateful for having the opportunity to attend.

I am a parent of two boys at Okeechobee Christian Academy and amazed at the academic excellence that my children are receiving there. My children have grown abundantly in Christ and the understanding of serving Him. I am grateful for our principle Mr. Nick Reynolds and the leadership and love for our children at OCA. I thank God for the opportunity to have my children learning Gods truth everyday and how to put it into action. Thank you OCA.

As far as a christian school is concerned, it rates a 5, but as far as all of the other issues, it lacks severely. No extracurricular activities. No PTA. Most of the teachers are personally great, but not all are certified teachers, and the student to teacher ratio is higher than it should be. There are no honors classes. There is no guidance counselor. And, the principal changes just about every year. And the fund raisers..... don't even get me started!

My daughter has been enrolled at this school for her entire shcool life and I thank God for enabling her to be a part of this family. The staff has always been supportive, encouraging and available. My daughter is a beautiful young lady and I share the credit of her upbringing with the Godly, wonderful staff, past and present, of this great little school. where God's presence is so obvious

I am a parent at Grace Christian and have loved it here! The Administrative staff was always friendly and helpful. I am suprised at the other review. I found that whenever an issue came up- I could go to the office and get encouragement and answers. They have had several changes in Principals, yet the office remains the same helpful place. I feel that my child is receiving a good education.

My daughter loves this school. I have sent my daughter to one public school and homeschooled and this is her favorite. I love her teacher.

As a parent of a grade school child that attends this school the over all rating is fairly good. However the principal and administrative staff I don't care for. They bend there rules where they see fit and then turn around and enforce the policys when an issue arises to give the parents a hard time. Okeechobee has limited options and the administrative staff is taking advantage of their power.

I received a wonderful Christ centered education through 8th grade. The ABeka program was an advanced study and when I transfered to high school, I was in honors classes. We had several exceptional musicdrama programs -usually 2 a year. My parents were involved as this was encouraged. I would recommend this school to all Christian families in Okeechobee!

I am a former student of Grace Christian. I attended the school from Kindergarten up to and including fifth grade. I enjoyed the school very much. There was not much to do extracurricularly, yet the teachers are excellent and I am of the opinion that they are some of the best teachers in the town of Okeechobee. I was beyond being prepared when I entered the public school system in sixth grade. They taught at a level where I was ahead of all my classmates in sixth grade and in seventh grade I began to learn new material that I had not covered at Grace Christian. The school formed a very stable base for my knowledge to grow on. I am very thankful for the faculty and staff there. I am currently working towards a doctorate and I owe some of this to Grace Christian Schools.
