My daughter has been in this school since the last 4 years and we love the school. The teachers are great and the parent involvement keeps enhancing the quality of learning. There are many programs which are unique to this school, even though there are many good schools in the Dr. Phillips School district. Whenever I visit the school, I see the Principal out and about....she is very active during the school hours. Great school, with tight knit community!

I love this school, my daughter is in second grade and she is very smart but lazy, so her grades don't show her abilities but all the teachers that she has had since KG have been very helpfull and worked with me on getting her more interested on doing her work at school and even making special charts and prizes for her, I really like this because it shows how much the teachers care about their students and how they go out of they way to help children with different issues, I know they get a lot of homework and academicly is very demanding but I think that is great, this forces the students to do their best, I'm glad I choose this school for my kids I would recomend it to anybody who wants their kids to excell.

I am a student at this school. I like my teachers but some things have happened this year in 5th grade. Cheating on the AR to go on the Seaworld trip, girls running around in bras on the camping trip and going to the boys side of the camp and bullying. I've heard that the teachers have told the kids involved to deny anything or else the principle will take the trips away and maybe the 5th grade dance. These kids should be in trouble for this bad behavior and the principle should not take these trips and dance away because of a few kids. That's just what I think.

There has definitely been a change with the front office staff since the beginning of this school year. I will agree that a select few were not very friendly but that does seemed to have changed and I AM a parent who is at the school regularly. No question that the teachers are great. Certain administrators are visible and accessible, others are not which can be frustrating to parents who have a valid concern or child issue. Windy Ridge is one of the best schools in OC but not the in the state let alone the country.

WR is one of the best schools in the county. My son has gone there for 8 years and I will be sad to see him move on. The teachers are very dedicated and loving. The front office is the best. The welcome everyone and are very concerned with the safety and well being of the students. The nurse rocks! Admin is wonderful. I don't think there are many schools in OC that are better. Awesome school!!!

The person who doesn't like the front office staff has obviously not spent enough time at the school. These ladies and gentleman are the best. They are truly dedicated to their jobs. They are more than willing to step in to cover everyone else's area and do whatever needs to be done to make WR the great school that it is. They love the kids are are dedicated to their safety and well being. They have a smile for everyone. They have a tough job dealing with some tough parents. The ones that don't follow the rules are the ones that give them a hard time. Front office, admin, nurse and teachers rock at WR!!!!

Windy Ridge is an awesome school. I have found that this school has high expectations for academics and behavior which I appreciate. The teachers are awesome. This allows my child to get an excellent education. The PTA holds many functions that allow for parent involvement and family fun such as the Spring Carnival, Donuts for Dads, Movie Night etc. The Middle School is great for a child who is high achieving and would do best in a small environment.

Windy Ridge is by far one of the best schools in Orlando. The teachers are totally commited. My children excell while there. There is one catch, though: do not expect a friendly front desk! The entire school would certainly benefit if the front desk had someone that could treat people equally with the respect everyone deserves. School is a 10, front desk is a zero!
