The Christ School is a great school because it has a safe Christian environment with caring teachers. I have been at TCS since Kindergarten and I am currently in 8th grade. I feel as though the Christ School has established a great Christian foundation in my heart that I will definitely need to use in high school and continue to use for the rest of my life. The classes are relatively small and most of the middle school teachers are passionate about what they teach and inspiring to their students.

The Christ school was not what I expected it to be. We had 3 kids in lower school and classes were not as competitive as other private schools. They do not have good after school programs nor competitive sport choices. Lunch was also a problem, you have no choice but to pack lunch . They also lack good communication.

We just got transferred out of Orlando and had to pull our son & daughter out of TCS. It was a very sad day, this school is fantastic! The environment is full of love, positive reinforcement and it is just a wonderful place for children to learn. The staff and director are top-notch. All parents participate in the many programs which only enriches the experience. We're so happy with this program that we can't say enough good things about TCS. It's awesome. Our kids are very homesick and miss TCS, their teachers, friends and Chapel the most. We love TCS. Go Lions!

If you want superior academics, Christian teaching, an opportunity to participate in sports starting in 5th grade and a safe and nurturing environment for your children...look no further. We have a 5th & 7th grader & wouldn't even consider another school!

I love working here! It s great to be surrounded by families and staff with Christ at the center of their heart. Parents actively support and participate in their child s education. Teaching is a privilege, and The Christ School enables me to be the best educator possible.

We have 3 children at The Christ School. Our oldest will graduate 8th grade this year, and I can honestly say we have never questioned our decision to send them to this amazing school. The teachers, staff and community truly have their best interests at heart. It has been a gift to watch them grow academically, spiritually and socially each year. I am confident they will be equipped to attend any High School and excel after graduating from The Christ School.

I am so thankful that we have had The Christ School to begin a solid Christian education for our children! The teachers are wonderful, and I can't imagine calling any other place our school home. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for an A+ school in the Orlando area. It has been such a blessing to our family!

Our children have been at the Christ School for nine years now and it has been a fantastic experience. My daughter just entered public high school and the foundation in character and leadership she gained at the Christ School has already set her apart. The families you meet here will become life-long friends; it is truly a second home for our family. The sports program is truly top notch, the parents are not just involved, but wholeheartedly engaged in furthering the academic, social and spiritual growth of our children. The middle school is incredible. Our children have experienced these always difficult years surrounded by friends, families, faculty and staff who work together to ease the tensions these years create and prepare our teenagers for high school. I simply cannot recommend The Christ School highly enough.

After having been at The Christ School for a year now, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. The teachers are top notch, the after school arts program is superb, the sports teams have excelled competitively winning top honors on most occasions, the spelling teams came in 1st and the elementary math team came in 2nd in their competitons and the outstanding academics are evident in the success of our graduates. This year's valedictorian and salutorian from Boone High School were 2004 TCS graduates; two of Edgewater's top 10 graduates were also 2004 TCS graduates. To top it off, it is a nurturing, Christ-centered environment, and my child is getting the best of all worlds in my humble opinion. It is one of downtown Orlando's best kept secrets, which is a shame, because it deserves accolades for its achievements academically, athletically and artistically.

This school is absolutely the top private school for elementary/middle in Orlando. There are approx. 15 students in K5~2nd grade and then it bumps up to 20 students per grade through 5th. A fact not known is that a Teacher's Assistant is part of the staff for each of the school grades to allow the great teachers here to focus on teaching and much of ancilliary duties being handled by the assistant. Unlike local public schools who focus on teaching the FCAT, here at TCS the fundamentals are addressed. Students are amongst peers of equal level vice public schools who have weaker students pulling from the strong. And, stronger students left in the corner reading, whilst the weaker students having the teachers undivided attention to bring up their numbers for the FCAT. TCS uses SRA's to track ability along with skill level reinforcement's and Yearly Progress via Stanford Achievment Test (SAT/10).

Many Orlando Private schools, including The Christ School has been a disappointment to us. We feel that paying for private education should give children access to less than 18-20 students in a class, and having 22 students per class is unacceptable. Additionally there is not a good range of extracurricular activities or tutoring available and the long carpool line is miserable in the afternoon. Parental involvement is the same as many facilities, 10% are doing 90% of the work. There are a lot of improvements that this school will make in the next few years with the new principal.
