My son was "falling through the cracks" at public school. His needs were not being met or even identified. His first three years in school he never wanted to go and always said he hated school. He now receives individual attention when needed and is finally enjoying school. In the year and half he has attended AOB he has never said 'I hate school'. Truly worth the drive from Port Orange to Ormond every day!!

I can not say enough great things about the Academy! This school is wonderful and a blessing to me. My daughter has struggled year after year and I had to practically drag her to school everyday. Now she loves school and she doesn't want to leave. The small class sizes and academic programs are wonderful, this is the first year I did not have to sit with her every night to do homework, she has learned so much that she does her work on her own. My only regret is that I did enroll her sooner.

My daughter has been so happy in the Pre-K program. Ms. Trish doesn't just babysit and let the children play whenever they like. She teaches the children and really prepares them for Kindergarten. It is a very structured curriculum and my 4 year old has learned SO MUCH. It is a very loving and close-knit family oriented enviroment.

The small classrooms allow each child to get a lot of individual attention. My child was lost in public school. She never wanted to go. Now we have to get her in early and she doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. The Academy uses a hands on approach with weekly field trips making learning fun and interesting for the kids. This school is like a second family. The staff is so dedicated to these children. I feel privledged to be a part of this school. I was also astounded to find out about the schlorships avaliabe that without, I would be unable to send my daughter. Thank you academy for changing our lives for the better!

This school is one of a kind in the area. It is a progressive school for kids focusing on math and science. The teachers are knowledgable, each kid is treated with respect, there is no bullying and the interaction between the kids is positive across all ages. The eco-explorers curriculum gets the kids outside to learn a couple times each week and you can't even believe what a difference this makes. It is so positive. I can't say enough about the school.

This school offers a progressive learning environment for students. Students participate in Eco-Explorers, and utilize laptops daily for grades 3-8. AOB students are readily accepted into area academies and IB programs.

My child was getting pushed aside in public school because of her Asperger's Syndrome. She felt no matter what she did it wasn't good enough. We were blessed when we discovered The Academy of Ormond Beach. My daughter is now working at her grade level and excelling in school. thank you to all the loving staff at The Academy of Ormond Beach.

A Wonderful School!! My son has been attending since Kindergarten and he is now in Second grade. I would have him in no other school than The Academy. I love the science program w/ Eco-Explorers. Small class sizes and excellent teachers- one winning combination!! I have to "drag" my son home from school.... mind-blowing!
