My son, two nieces and my cousin's daughter are attending this school for the first time this year. We all drive almost 60 miles round trip to have our children benefit from the highest quality education being offered in all of Central FL and possibly the whole state of FL. I looked into the competition such as Trinity Prep, Lake Highland Prep, Lake Mary Prep..... and none of these schools have the edge that the Master's Academy has. Not only is the education and instruction at Master's Academy stellar, but the level of commitment, love and emphasis that the teachers, administrative staff, and even parents have displayed is second to none. I was blown away by the love and kindness that everybody has shown us since before day 1. I am honored to have my son and other family members benefit from an excellent quality education. By the way my wife and I are former teachers from up North and we know quality when we see it. God Bless all the children and families that attend TMA!! Hope that you make the best choice for your children and join our family at TMA!!

I have had 2 children attend this school for 7-9 years each. So we have experience both lower school and upper school here. Our lower school experience was excellent. . Our Upper school experience left much to be desired. Many of the teachers are great. But as with any school there are definitely some sub-par teachers here. Since we had 6 years of public school experience I would say the ratio of good teachers to bad was about the same here as public school. If your student is interested in athletics I would definitely stick to public school. Athletics are not supported by the administration here.. My kids participated in 4 sports here and the priority was always politics not students. I would also stay away from the art department. My biggest disappointment with this school is their administration. In my few dealings with administration I have personally experienced a shocking lack of integrity and lying. This lack of integrity is apparently common knowledge to other parents and students. This blatant lack of integrity has caused my children to question their faith. They also told me that a number of their friends had already turned from their faith for the same reason.

Our daughter has been a student at TMA for nine years. She has always been challenged academically and we have never had issues with the curriculum. With a few exceptions, we have been very happy with the teachers she has had. Like many other reviewers, however, we have witnessed favoritism and our daughter has faced VERY cliquish behavior -- something that surprises me considering it is a very small class (less than 100 students) and most of the students have been classmates since kindergarten. Even in high school she has experienced instances of teasing, bordering on bullying, that has been witnessed by teachers and reported to administration, yet it goes unpunished. It is so bad that our daughter has begged us for two years to let her leave TMA. We have finally acquiesced and are transferring her to another school. TMA places a huge emphasis on sports and little on fine arts. In fact, they no longer offer chorus as an elective. Finally, attending TMA is a very large investment, so be prepared to be nickel and dimed for everything. We have come to expect several hundred dollars of charges and fees added to our invoice each month on top of the $700 tuition.

"The Master's Academy has been the best thing that could happen to my entire family! I have not met a single teacher that does not care for each student as their own and the administrators know each of them as well. My husband and I have also been welcomed with open arms as a part of school community with volunteer options, bible studies and fellowship events. TMA truly has become an extension of our family and not just a school. Thank you!"

My daughter's school is phenomenal. I am so impressed by the teaching staff and the level of thinking they develop in my 9 year old. My husband and I are both teachers and I often take her tests and show them to my husband to encourage him that if our 9 year old can think at this level, so can our middle school students! I am so grateful for you her entire 4th grade team of teachers. She is learning so much and is so enthusiastic about what she learns in school! It is a mother's dream to have teachers who inspire curiosity and spark imaginations but also have high expectations and a heart for the whole child! The critical thinking skills she is gaining this year are so crucial to her future success! The facilities are beautiful, technology is top-notch, but the greatest part of her school is the incredible teaching staff that pour into the lives of each child they teach!

There are many reasons we like TMA , but I will just highlight the top ones for us. Our sons, currently Seniors, started in TMA as juniors and felt a welcoming atmosphere from their peers ,something not usual among highschoolers. Also the J-Term program the Upper school provides for grades 9-12 is an excellent way for them to explore their future vocations . Camp Sparta High School Retreat gives them the opportunity to fellowship with their teachers and classmates outside the academics ,meanwhile creating life long friendships.Last ,but not least our Elementary school child ,who is very shy, absolutely loves her teachers and classmates and enjoys every aspect of her classes .We are honored to have our children in a school that excels in academics and at the same time instills in the student that All is done to honor the Lord.

TMA is like family, it is like our second home. The administrators, staff, teachers, coaches and even the other families are always available for help. My daughter and son were able to gain great friends and so are we. Thank you so much TMA!

We have three children and each have a different learning style. What we love about TMA is their small class sizes as well as the high quality of their teachers! Just as important is the love of Christ that is evident in all of the staff members we have met. The communication between our children's teachers and us is amazing! Master's Academy continues to bring out the very best in our children!

Love this school! It is a refreshing sight to see how kids can pray together for each other. As well as teachers can pray for the students . We have women bible studies. A place where we can together and pray for each other. I love the fact that this school a non-denomination. The school can focus on the relationship between student and Christ .

Our 5yr old could not be happier at TMA. He comes home every day eager to tell us all about his day and what he's learned, while at the same time he is thirsty to learn more. The Lord's message is so clear ... We made the absolute best choice for our son.

The Master's Academy is an awesome school! All 3 of my kids have attended. I have 1 that graduated in 2012, 1 that will graduate in 2014 and 1 in 8th grade. The teachers are exceptional! They are also fully invested in each and every child. When their grandmother died suddenly last spring, all of the teachers stepped up and comforted by children and prayed for them. I couldn't ask for anything more!

My wife and I have had four children at TMA over a period of nine years, thus far, and have never regretted it. Words I would use to describe our experience with TMA are Balanced, Authentic, Professional, Caring and Christ-like. We have recommended many of our friends and colleagues to the Masters Academy and will continue to do so.

I have a fourth grade son and a twelfth grade daughter at The Master's Academy (TMA) in Oviedo, Florida. At one time, we had five children at TMA from elementary through high school so I have had experience with the school as a whole. I appreciate this school and am thoroughly impressed with the staff, both teaching and administrative, who are ready, willing, and able to help in any circumstance. The staff continues to impress me with their concern and compassion for each of my children, as well as with their knowledge and teaching skills. Most importantly, God is the main reason for and focus of this school, and the staff demonstrates love of and dedication to Christ, and are, therefore, wonderful role models for the students and their families. My children have benefited emotionally, spiritually, and academically from being students at The Master's Academy. I feel blessed to have my children in this school, and am confident that they have a firm foundation in growing a healthy relationship with Christ. Thank you!

This school is amazing! The emphasis on both academic and spiritual education is wonderful. I have a son in 8th and daughter in 5th. They can't get over how friendly and welcoming everyone is since we moved here in August. The staff are already like family who truly care about their students grades and developing their hearts for Christ. This school is impressive!

My children started attending TMA in preschool and it has been such a blessing to our family for over fifteen years! The academics are challenging, but totally prepare students for top colleges. The families have such great hearts, the teachers go out of their way to help the students, and the students themselves are nothing short of delightful. I am so glad our children are a part of the school. PHENOMENAL arts and sports programs, too. I really like the international travel opportunities and the missions trips that are offered a couple times a year. TMA truly is a GREAT SCHOOL.

My daughter had come from a public school and was having a lot of anxiety and just shutting down when feeling overwhelmed. Bottom line, she was not happy and I felt like she was losing her joyful spirit. After much consideration, I thought maybe a Christian environment would be a better place for her. I took my daughter with me during the tour and afterwards looked at me and said "this school is a dream come true!" She knew she would leave her old friends and that she would be starting three months into the school year, but she didn't care. She is in 4th grade and she is doing tremendous! I have my happy daughter back!!! Thank you TMA for everything you do for our community and family!!!

We enjoyed our first few years at TMA but then things changed. The classroom sizes in Lower School are out of control. The Christian aspect and teaching are wonderful; however, favoritism is an ongoing issue. Children involved in mission trips or high academics are visibly more recognized than the other children; don't bother going to the upper school end of the year awards because usually only about 7 kids from each grade receive every award (which by the way, is made up and given by the teachers). What really made us leave was the fact that sports are very weak at TMA; coaches are not trained/qualified; the ones that are do not stay. General improvement is needed...

I cannot say enough about how much this school has meant to our family. I have 2 boys getting ready to graduate and am so thankful for their years here. The families and teachers are wonderful and the Principals, Guidance Office and School Pastor are amazing. I talk to so many friends who cannot believe the attention to detail and support we have received throughout the entire college application process. The Master's Academy will forever be part of the strong foundation my kids our built on.

The Administration puts greed over God in my opinion. My child attended for 9 years, until I lost my job and could not pay for the following year. Not a single person from the school reached out to us with even an expression of sympathy. Instead it was 100% business. They kept the $750 registration I had paid for the following year and I had to beg not to be charged 1 month of the following year's tuition because of the "short notice" that we could not afford to come back. The Superintendent walks around saying this is "his school" when he's not watching the property on cameras from the house the school built him on the adjoining property. The teachers are wonderful, but the enviornment is for the affluent and once you fall from the financial status, you are quickly forgotten. I don't know how they call themselves a ministry, they certainly don't show charity to their own. It would have meant so much to receive a card or note or offer of prayers after so many years of attendance and involvement there.

My daughter attended public schools from K-5 and she did not want to attend TMA because all of her friends were going to the public middle school. After touring the school she was a little more accepting, but still not sure. Currently she is halfway through 6th grade and she loves it! The staff and students have been very welcoming. TMA is an excellent school and we are very pleased with our decision to attend and plan on staying through high school.

Our family is a big fan of The Master s Academy. After having interacted with teachers from kindergarten to 12th grade for over a decade now, I know that the faculty is an incredible group of hard-working, Christian men and women. Our boys have had good teachers every year who genuinely cared about them and believed in them. They also expected great things of them and gave them challenges to push themselves and experiences to inspire them. The Master s Academy also partnered with us as parents in the area of spiritual development too. Our boys learned about hiding God s word in their heart. They were allowed to ask hard, faith-based questions, and they were encouraged to find the answers. They were also not only told who God is, but they were shown His kindness, faithfulness and even discipline by the role-modeling the staff has done. We have been blessed to be a part of The Master s Academy and it has been worth every sacrifice. Of all the things we could ve spent money on I believe nothing would have yielded as great a return.

This is our family's 20th year at TMA and we have seen the benefits all along the way! Our daughter graduated seven years ago, our oldest son five years ago, another son one year ago and we have one son remaining at TMA, who is a junior this year. Each of our kids who has graduated from TMA has said upon starting college, "College is so easy!" Our response is, "Thank God and Thank TMA!" The Master's Academy is truly a preparatory school. Our daughter was inspired by her teachers so much at TMA that she became a teacher and has been teaching successfully for three years. Our oldest son has a great business position with a family-oriented Fortune 500 company. Our second son is off to a great start in college. The spiritual impact of TMA is also amazing. The teachers of TMA truly love the kids and show it every day. They pray for our kids and their families regularly. Chapels are positive, Bible teachers share practical and biblical advice, coaches provide a Godly example in the arena of competitive sports, and the list goes on. We cannot thank TMA enough for being the blessing it has been to both our children and to us as parents. It is trulyThe MASTER'S Academy.

Our Son has really enjoyed his teachers, classes, school and sports; we have been part of the TMA family for 2 years now and the entire staff at TMA is friendly and truly dedicated to seeing our son success. We couldn't have chosen a better place to build a strong foundation both educational and spiritual. Our Daughter will be starting at TMA next year and I myself attended Masters academy back in the early 1990s. Please keep up the great work.

Good teachers can be one of the most influential forces in the development of a child. At TMA, we have found teachers who truly care, who walk that line between discipline and love, and who are always willing to go out of their way to help our children. When an educator touches the life of a child, it makes a profound and lasting impact. The teachers at TMA go above and beyond each and every day, so that our children can learn from their example and carry forth the same approach to the next generation.

From the first day we visited TMA, I continue to be amazed at the level of organization and accessibility of the teachers and administrative staff. After visiting several schools, we found TMA to meet our goals for a high standard of education with a Christian base, nurturing and motivating staff, safe campus and parental involvement. Knowing that my grandchildren will have the opportunity to begin their school years and graduate at one campus with students and families who share the same Christian values as us was an important factor in our decision.

After reading the negative review on this site, I had to comment. My children have fortunately done very well at The Master's Academy and it is by far the best school academically in central florida. Most of the teachers are absolutely committed to the students, but then there is always one at any school. The academics are advanced, and what's more your children have to work to get a passing grade. I would have to guess that those parents that are being negative found the easy way out in public school with no homework and just FCAT- FCAT- FCAT. It would be hard to find a better situation for your children if you want them in a Christian learning environment. The only thing that is difficult is coming in as a new student and making new friends, which is probably the case just about anywhere you go. The administration is excellent, although I will tell you they don t mix with the families in the school body they are there to run the school not to be your friend . I highly recommend it to any Christian family. Both of my children went off to state universities after graduating from masters and finished in the top of their classes.

I love TMA. My high school daughter gets to study abroad for the school's 2 week "J-term." This year's trip is to Scotland and Ireland. Last year they went to Rome and Florence, the year before they studied in London. My other child is taking two weeks of photography and cooking. Her best friend is going on a mission trip to Costa Rica. There are a myriad of options. My kids love their school supplied iPads, as well. I appreciate the creative, innovative experiences and tools they have at TMA.

After two years at an A-rated public school, I knew that I wanted more for my girls. Selecting The Master's Academy was a true investment in our daughter's future on so many levels! The intimate atmosphere of a God-centered school while still having strong academics and leading-edge technology was perfect! The safety and security was superior to what we had at the public school. The teachers that we have had played a tremendous role in helping diagnose and correct one child's learning disability. The masters academy has provided a rich, nurturing, yet still competitive place for our girls to lean and grow!!!

We are a new family to TMA and have felt so at home from the very first visit. Our kids have been welcomed by teachers and families alike. Our children have very different needs. One needs a lot of support and the other really needs to be challenged. Master's meets both of their needs and is so good about constant communication about their growth.

I am the parent of a TMA graduate. He spent his high school years at the school. As a "new kid" he never really felt "new". He formed very solid friendships with amazing peers that have, and continue to, encourage him in his walk with God. We found the teachers to be interested in him as a person, not just one of the crowd. He was encouraged in his academics, along with his relationship with God. He played sports and found it to be competitve in the sports he played. His coaches not only taught him to be an athlete, but to be a Christian athlete. He is now a junior at UCF, persuring his degree. He has been prepared for all he has faced, including the arduous task of applying for and getting accepted to colleges. Neither he nor I would trade his time at the Master's Academy.

I never saw a school like The Master's Academy that looked at each child as a unique child created by God. Learning assessments are given on each child. The teachers go above and beyond to help find the way your child learns best. There are after school clubs such as model rockets, robotics, etiquette, drama, puppet team and chess club. Other programs such as enrichment, a gifted program and a learning center. Sports begin at age 4 and there are four gym classes a week. Even a student council at all levels! What a way to develop leadership in students as young as first grade!

TMA is not just a school. It is family. For the past 7 years I have watched my 4 children grow into young men and women of integrity, character, and faith equipped to face the rigorous challenges of college and adulthood due to the encouragement, love, discipline and knowledge they have received here at The Master's Academy. The sports' programs, fine arts, Bible studies, technological advances, mission trips, AP and Honor classes, leadership training, etc. have helped develop the heart, mind, and soul of my children because the teachers, staff, and coaches genuinely care and invest themselves so personally into the lives of every student. They have learned to think, lead, make decisions, serve, care, and apply their knowledge to making a positive difference in the world. You will not be disappointed at the well rounded, excellent education TMA provides!

After analyzing all options for our girls to start school, experiencing TMA for 1 1/2 years, and even rechecking all other options, I can confidently say that this is the best school for our family. My 1st grader says she wants to go there forever..even college...heh. Teachers are academically challenging, patient, and handle situations professionally. Principals & Superintendents are always striving to improve school & offerings. Coaches are kid-magnets & offer fun clinics, etc. Parents' suggestions are honestly considered. Lots of parent involvement...Mom/Dad groups, gatherings, volunteering, seminars...people CARE there. Children get to experience so much: family friendly football games, other sports, art, drama, cheering, music, computers, spanish, Latin, chapel, after school activities/clubs, writing labs, much more...all in a "secured" environment (cameras & security guards on premesis) Pastor & Team always hve appropriate message with good visuals and fun music. Like that this is a non-denomination Christian school so kids know we have similar beliefs, even if not identical, can still get along. live in A rated zoned public school, but feel this is good investment.

Resources are so stretched right now ... why in the world did we have to have iPADs for every high school student? They are not being used effectively. It is a great advertising ploy but what a waste of money. The school just bought into a summer campground - another waste - the economic rationale escapes most parents. I really wish the administration would focus on resolving some of the issues at the school. There are way too many fundraisers and all of these ridiculous expenditures are distracting for the core purpose of the school. I was extremely frustrated when we paid to build a house for the superintendent. I think purchasing this camp is the last straw. I'm looking forward to finding a much better place next year - fortunately, there are many good choices locally.

I stayed at the school because I believe all of the hype. They do a great job at looking good. However, after leaving and going to public schools, my child find public school more challenging. You can get A's at this school and then struggle in similar classes at public school. While many of the teachers are great, the turn-over is scary. It is also very disappointing how they spend their money. No accountability on decisions they make or what they do. The size is shrinking ... barely enough kids to have a football team, they had to give up on having a Marching Band. Overall, it feels fake and I'm really glad to be out of that environment.

We have a daughter in college who attended TMA 10th-12th after having a difficult time in public school. She excelled at this school and is in college. We now have a child in Kindergarten attending TMA. Here's how I feel about the school. I love the happy atmosphere. I love the family atmosphere. I love the open lines of communication with parents and staff. I love all the activities the school has to offer for parents as well as students. I love how clean the school is. I love how the school teaches their students with all the latest technology. I love that I feel my child is safe. I love the family atmosphere. And most of all.... I love that Christ is the main focus of every aspect of the school. I love that my child can pray to God, talk about God, listen to Christian music at school, celebrate Christmas as Jesus's Birthday, not as a "Winter Holiday or Winter Break". I love that my child is learning more about the Lord at school then she ever would by just attending church once a week. I can't imagine my child going anywhere else!

This school has such an innovative mindset and the teachers are truly committed to ensuring your child learns and excels. We just started up the school year this week and my girls (Elementary and Middle School) couldn't wait to get back and see their teachers and friends!! The extra curricular activities are almost limitless and the coaches invest so much time in ensuring that your child feels welcome and involved.

My daughter has had such a wonderful experience at this school. We love the small class sizes, caring teachers and great coursework. I over heard my daughter (she is 4) tell her friend, "I love my school because my school loves me" She feels like she is a part of her school, not simply going there. I have to say that every time I toured Masters...5 trips in all :o) I always had this feeling that this was where we were meant to be. The task of choosing a school for our children can be scary and daunting but trust me when I say once you tour TMA you will know that this is one AMAZING school! As a parents of two alumni, we are pleased with our investment in TMA and the investment the teachers made in our students. School is about more than just the textbook, the tests, and the grades. Back before the beautiful new campus, the focus was on helping students become successful throughout their earthly journey toward their eternal home in heaven. The school enhanced what we taught at home and in church, regarding the Bible, responsibility, integrity, character, work ethic and so on. Our children benefited greatly from this support system and still maintain relationships with many of their school friends. (Like family, these friendships had strong bonds!) Being involved in team activities (all kinds, not just sports) gave them a place to fit in and grow. Not everything was easy, nor perfect. But life is not easy...it was a great place to grow into a mature and wise adult.

MANY TMA years logged in! ....I know that TMA is a good investment of your time and money, though education is about more than money. Each negative comment may have an element of truth, but are really perceptions and certainly not true of the overall school body. Who enjoys TMA the most? (1) Students who get involved in different activites (and there are MANY!) (2) Students who struggle and ask for additional help (and no one turns them down) (3) Parents who get involved and volunteer. (4) Staff who invest in the vision and not just a good job. (5) Anyone who wants to grow spiritually. TMA is a partnering place....so if your goal is to pay a bill, and expect TMA to do everything and give straight A's ~ it is probably not the best fit for you. For those who want to parter....AWESOME EDUCACTIONAL environment!

When we learned we were moving to FL we stopped by TMA over the summer for a tour of the school... Our unexpected visit was greeted with open arms and things have continued in much the same way every since! My daughter never felt like "the new girl". All of the faculty and students were thrilled to share their wonderful school! And we feel blessed every day to be a part of something so wonderful! We've been extremely impressed with all the extra-curricular aspects of TMA as well! TMA offers programs for every childs special interests. My daughter loves to go to school every day and that puts a parents heart at ease!

This is our first year at TMA. Our daughter is in first grade and loves attending TMA. She had a fever last week and burst into tears when we told her she would have to stay home from school. Her relationship with God is growing daily. The faculty and staff at TMA are wonderful. TMA is committed to keeping the lines of communication open between the parents and staff. TMA keeps us informed and even teaches us how to help our children learn. We are looking forward to partnering with TMA throughout our daughters educational experience.

My son began attending Masters as a 6th grader. Within just a few weeks, he told me that he already "felt at home" there. The teachers and the students are great. We plan to send our other children to Masters as well.

Our 3 kids (3rd, 5th, and 10th grades) just love the Master s Academy! Strong academics with no hypocrisy just a great, spiritually solid place that really feels genuine to the core. The kid s teachers are just amazing! And their offerings of after school activities and sports are phenomenal! The kids are plugged in every way possible from band to drama to chorus to sports the kids TRULY have a better social life than their parents that is for sure!

We are blessed to have our children at Master's. We have three children at Master's - one in each school. We absolutely love the teachers! They are dedicated, loving and godly examples. The school grounds are very well-kept and attractive. They offer a good selection of courses. We feel at peace knowing our children are safe and are receiving an exceptional education with a Biblical perspective.

I went to this school for many years. Elementary school was average. Most of the teachers were good, but the principle needs to retire. Middle and High school were absolutely unacceptable. The school claims to be 'one year ahead', but when I transfered to public school I was in the lowest-leveled classes. I scored a '2' (out of 5) [not passing] on the FCAT in Science, and had all A's every year in Science. A majority of the teachers didn't seem to care very much about teaching and had favorites. The superintendent is terrible, and almost everybody at the school would agree with that. The student body was very unfriendly. Though the school claims to be non denominational, it would be a huge mistake to send your student here being any denomination but Southern Baptist. If you are looking to send your children here, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

My nephew went to Master's. He was on the honor and had great grades. When he went to public school because he felt it was too easy and the students were unruly, he discovered he was not prepared. He actually had to repeat a course!!! I never imagined that a private school would be below the standards of a public school. Very disappointing. He also felt like the kids were able to run wild ... especially if the parents were financial donors.

We have six children that are in elementary, middle and high school classes at The Master s Academy. We have been a part of TMA for eleven years and are so blessed that our children are receiving an excellent, quality education with a Christ-centered foundation. We know that when they reach graduation, they will be prepared, not only academically for higher education, but also spiritually for the plans that God has for them. We are truly thankful for the many sports that are offered (from kindergarten on up to high school), the outstanding honors and enrichment classes, the weekly chapel and on-site pastor, the growing drama and chorus programs that are available, and for the many scholastic competitions and awards that reinforce high achievement. We also appreciate the awesome teachers that are completely dedicated to teaching the students with a Bible-based curriculum and a love and compassion for each child. The office staffs of both the upper and lower schools also reflect the light of Jesus and are helpful and patient no matter how many times we call with questions and requests. The elementary principal that knows every student by name, the middle school field trips to educational, yet fun, out of state places, and the unique J-term in high school are just some of the unique features of The Master s Academy. We are very proud to be a part of the TMA family.

Master's Academy is not for every child. The student body tends to be unfriendly and are very cliquish. There seems to be a critical atmosphere both in the administration and students. We only experience middle and high school. Some teachers are great, others are not. We had several instances of teachers favoring the kids of big doners. It is common knowledge among the kids that the children of wealthy parents get preferential treatment. All in all it is probably better than many other Christian schools. If your children handle the stiff social atmosphere and feel comfortable there, it is a good fit. If not, it might not get any better. We found the public school our children attended after Master's to be far better both academically and in responsiveness to parents. The administration at Master's is relatively unfriendly. It is unfortunate because there are few Christian schools to choose from.

My daughter is a recent graduate of The Master's Academy. I am pleased to say that she is beginning her freshman year in college with 21 credit hours. The dual-enrollement programs and the AP classes that are offered at Masters gave her the opportunity to begin college with such a great head start. (That's money in this happy mom's pocket.) Also, because my daughter received quality instruction in her academic courses, she was able to earn an ACT score that granted her a scholarship for full tuition while attending college; including graduate school. Lastly, there is no denying that the academic achievement is a blessing, but the real blessing is the personal care she received throughout her high school years. There is no dollar amount I would place on the individualized focus she received from the wonderful staff at The Master's Academy. Our family is truly blessed.

We are extremely pleased with The Master's Academy. As parents of two children who attend TMA we cannot express how happy we are to have them attend the school. We both thank the Lord for their godly example and the role models they are, not only to our children, but to all the children at TMA. They truly go the 'extra mile' and that is why our children are at The Master's Academy.

The Master's Academy is an outstanding school both in academics and from a christian perspective. We have had two children recently graduate from TMA. Both grew in their faith and were prepared by first rate teachers as they entered college. Our children have attended several Christian schools and by far TMA is the best!

It was absolutely a mistake to send our kids to this school. After a few years we withdrew our son and daughter. To sum it up, they are a fanatical right-wing minded school. They try to show that they are a Christian school, but it is a fa ade. Everyone raved about how great the teachers were. We were disappointed. Though our two did well, we felt that at best the school was way overpriced. From the supplies to the field trips, it was ridiculous. This school is all show and no substance. We should have given more weight to the other written reviews.

If you're considering sending your child to Masters, save your money and don't.They're incredibly expensive and make you pay for every little thing. They tell you to act Christ-like although many of the students (and some teachers) don't. Students curse and treat you very rudely (especially the older kids) and have no consideration. Some (not all) teachers don't take you seriously and choose favorites. The academics are ok but the teachers don't really do that good of a job. I was an A+ student at my old school but upon coming to TMA I got Bs on my report card which doesn't cut it in my house. If you're looking for a school to emphasize the Bible, consider TMA, otherwise don't! They claim to be above grade level, but that's a lie, they're right at it. Seriously man, don't send your child here it's not worth it. Save your money man!!!!

We wanted to place our children in a more challenging academic program. After doing our research we settled on Masters. Great show with no substance. We found it to be a great disappointment. Enamored in 'religiosity' and that fake grin they give you, they are all about the money. We found many of the families to be rather snooty. Their sports programs are embarrassing. Oh, let's not mention the moms that congregate around the drop-off/pick-up line before and after school. I guess they aren't getting enough attention at home. Nonetheless, though our children were at the top of their class here, we decided we chose to enroll them in a better school. Save yourself some time and pass over this one. Oh, btw, I understand they have people write raving reviews on blogs like this so that people who don't know will think it's a great school. Don't be fooled.

We have two children currently attending The Master's Academy (TMA) --one is in high school and the other in middle school. The TMA environment is based on Christian education and academic excellence with an abundance of love and encouragement being poured on the students daily. The administration, teachers and staff are all wonderful! You can never find a better Christian school that is amazing as this school. Our children love it there!

After reading the negative review on this site, I had to comment. My children have unfortunately been to four other local Christian schools and The Master's Academy is by far the best one academically and has teachers who are absolutely committed Christians. The academics are advanced, and what's more they have so many class choices available. It would be hard to find a better situation for your children if you want them in a Christian learning environment. The only thing that is difficult it coming in as a new student and making new friends, which is probably the case just about anywhere you go. The administration is excellent, and I highly recommend it to any Christian family.

Exciting! Spiritual! VERY Academic. This is a 'Knock Your Socks Off' school. They have an outstanding campus and facility, but even better are the Christian teachers. My three kids LOVE it. Happy kids make happy parents. You won't find a better Christian school. It is excellent on so many levels.

The last of my 3 children is finishing at The Master's Academy this year (has been here since Kindergarten)! You could not find a more Godly school; the teacher's are all believers, the principals are awesome and the academics are challenging. The graduating seniors are getting early acceptances into the top colleges in the nation. I am sorry to say that there will always be families that will not be happy any where; but if you are in prayer about where your kids should be and God tells you TMA is the place, you can be assured that your kids will get an excellent education; be offered all the sports opportunities they could possibly want AND of course, the spiritual aspect is amazing!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We relocated to the area and selected TMA based upon the curriculum and environment. Once we were in the area we began hearing criticism about their curriculum being insufficient - i.e. public schools were doing a better job. I contacted the principal and was reassured. However, a few days prior to school we were given our child's books. Imagine our dismay to find that EVERY SINGLE TEXT was AT GRADE LEVEL. We had been told countless times they were a year ahead of schedule. We were clear that we wanted an advance curriculum for our child. We were left in the lurch without a school for our child and certainly not a refund for being mislead. It is our belief we were intentionally mislead. It is our belief that money, not God, is the diety guiding TMA these days. It is unfortunate.

TMA is a school committed to excellence and preparing its students for success in the future. Both my boys have progressed leaps and bounds since entering TMA from years of wasted time in the public system. Both children consider it a privilege to attend the school and are thankful for the challenging curriculum, thoughtful and knowlegeable teachers, and feeling of safety and community. We are thankful for teachers who have offered after school help and strived to help our boys develop not only academically but spiritually.

If you want an incredible learning development program that will help your child and a great elementary school TMA is it! The Christian atmosphere is genuine and caring, the academics standards are college prep and the NILD program is the best as well as one that is not offered by many schools in the area. I speak as a former homeschool mom and a teacher of over 25 years with experience in both Christian and public schools. Most of all, I am a happy mom because my little one is very happy at TMA. She has already planned to graduate from TMA and she's only in the 2nd grade!

i personally do not like this school anymore..it has gone down hill since i started going here in 7th grade. im a junior now and we have lost so many teachers its not funny. they have strayed alot from the teachings of Christ but still try their best. it like my friend predicted would become one of those annoying prep like schools where everything revolves around sports. its not super bad but its getting there. also you CANNOT take a summer school course if the school offers it..not cool! the teachers arent horrible but we get new teachers like every year. the superintendent isnt the greatest guy either..they have made some poor decisions in the last few years as well..they have added a new lunch room which really wasnt needed..but that TMA..hope this helps

The academics are poor. Class sizes are large and the teacher and family turn-over is very high. So many good families have left. We had 3 principals in HS in 3 years. With the turn-over it feels like every year is the 'first year'. All decisions seemed to be based on growth or external appearance. My children's test scores continue to decline, despite their grades being A's & B's. After being here a few years, I would not recommend it at all. There are a few good teachers and some great families who are trying to hold it together, but on the whole, this is not a good value for the money. If you are interested in this school, ask specific questions and ask that answers be backed up with real data.

I am a Former student at this school and I couldn't be happier about leaving. This school was strictly based on politics, not the teachings of Jesus. The elementry program was excellent academically, but the middle school program fell very short in many areas. I find the public schools to be far superior academically.

This school is one of the most well rounded schools,Christian or other. Outstanding academics and spiritual development. Fantastic extra-curricular programs and top notch teachers. They always go the second mile with regards to customer service and you will be thrilled to be a part of this school. Very difficult to get in to the school. Enrollment is almost always full by February the year before.

I've seen many Christian private schools in the different places my family lived and I've traveled - but none compare to The Master's Academy. A great staff with good academics (also help for students with learning disabilities) and extracurricular activities for all ages makes it very unique. If you are serious about a Christian education for your kids don't miss this school.

We thought this would be a wonderful learning enviroment for our child due to it being a christian school. What we found though is a very strict school that our child faltered in. The elementary curriculum is controversial in many christian circles which our child strained at doing whereas made excellent grades prior. As parents, we sighed with great relief when we pulled our child out. Please be aware that this school requires parents/students to sign confidentiality agreements that state that you must leave quietly. They have a reputation to maintain and will do so at any cost. We have remained silent till know and hope to remain anonymous. The school was not a fit for our child but it doesn't mean it isn't for another. I hope this will help in making an informed choice.
