This is the best school i ever went too!!! I hear some other reviews that are not true like "there are rats running around the school" or "theres to many christians" or "too much drugs" but thats not really true. First of all, rats running around? Okay, that was the worst lie i ever heard pace is the cleanest school ever. To many christians? Yeah, sorry were a people who like are religion and go to our church, i dont even know how you can complain about somthing that isn't even aloud in school anyway. And the drugs? Well, every school has drugs, but schools up north and west are worse. The only reason you hear about drugs hear is because the staff actually catches kids when they have them, unlike the majority of other schools.

As a current student some of these reviews are apalling. Drgs- just as much as any high school. Teacher quality- very good, unless you happen to get the occasional lazy teacher. The two main problems are the hugely Christian bias and the clique-ish attitude of students. You rarley see students interact with others who differ in opinions. Sports are also a VERY big impact on student life, especially football (like most high schools) Socially the school is on the lesser side but academics are very well done.

Pace High School is the best School I have ever attended. It is better than some of the private schools I have even gone to! There isn't a day where I don't have fun! The teachers are very understanding and will work with you on whatever you need help with. Unlike what the person below be posted(P.S., go back to where you're from if you do not like Pace), it is a very clean environment. No rats, whatsoever. As for being overrun with drugs, I have never seen one type of drug on that campus before, and trust me, I know more than 80% of the student body. I am very happy with my time I have spent there.

We moved here a little over a year ago from a very highly rated school. We are very unhappy with Pace High. They have very few extracurricular activities outside of sports. The school is overrun with drugs and there doesn't seem that there is anything to do in town to keep the kids busy. The school has a coffee shop but didn't have a school library part of last school year. The gym is the smallest school gym I have ever seen and we came from a fairly small town. It is filthy and I was afraid to sit down. My son said you can sometimes hear rats running in the ceiling during classes. Overall, not a good experience. We are trying looking to relocate to get our children out of this school system.

I am a former student. This school had some great teachers; however, the administration crossed the line several times. They were not very open to beliefs other than Christian.

Pace High School is a school that has a great educational program, fabulous teachers and administrators and has maintained the values and morals that many schools and parts of the country have completely dismissed. I definitely think this school is deserving of America's Favorite School!

The administration has high expectations of discipline, academics, with the faculty, staff displaying strong moral character. I have three children that all graduated from Pace. They have been very successful in college. Two of the three have post-graduate degrees. The last one is working on his BS and plans to go further.

I am so impressed with this school. They have high expectations for the children and the administration and teachers are awesome role models for the kids as a whole. They are an All- American wonderful school- one of the few that still values what our country was founded on.

an excellent school for learning

there christian beliefs keep getting them into more and more trouble they need to put their personal beliefs aside and look at the school as a diverse Whole!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the school!! I love the fact that it gives off a christian persona....and I hope it always stays this way! For those of you who do not agree with this and the way the administration believe....there are other schools to choose from...go somewhere else!! As for me and my house, school, county....we will serve the LORD!!

The school is great as far as academics & teachers go, however the administration needs serious revising. It's a public school and the administration acts as if it's a private christian school in many occurences. Other than the ridiculous admin. the school is awesome :)

Academic wise the school is great. They offer a lot to the students to grow and enrich themselves. However, there is a huge religious undertone that tends to be a bit over the line. It comes through in some of the classes and the way the teachers teach. Shouldn't be brought to the schools. Also, if you are at all 'different' and express yourself, you will have problems. Conformitty is their standard. Like the academics, do not like the administration.

I graduated from Pace High in 1980 and since have had 3 students graduate and currently have a 10th grader there. Pace has some of the highest FCAT scores in the state! They have an excellent sports program too! Great leadership!

Pace High School at best is average. There is a very strong religious undertone and at times crosses the line. Not being from this area and here only due to military transfer we found the structure and the cirriculum to be far below and other state we've been in. Yes, you'll do great if you play sports, or know someone who knows someone.

Id have to say this is an outstanding school. My dad is in the military so I've been to a few schools and this is by far the best. Great sports and NJROTC, their NJROTC unit was best in the world in 2003, and their sports teams have won way to many state championships to count. Great academics, challenging and helps a lot. I highly recommend going to this school. 6 star definitely.

The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
