The school area is horrible, my son struggled with learning at this school. Had to go out and get a tutor to complete what the teacher should have been teaching in school. Also the after school program that they offer they dont work with the kids its like an extra play session for them. NOT PLEASED AT ALL!!!!
Quality of academic programs is poor. They only offer P.E. for an extracurricular activity. They cut back on art and music. Level of parent involvement in poor.
Both of my girls went there. My oldest one is in 8th grade this year and my youngest one is in 5th grade this year. My oldest liked the school and didnt want to move on to the middle school. She had good friendships with her classmates, teachers, and office help and the adults that worked there. The best 5th grade teachers are Mrs. Holley and Mrs. Woods.
