I could not be happier (and neither could my child) with the learning environment and opportunities at SEASCS. The staff creates a strong, caring community feeling and since the teachers aren't hampered by state/FCAT requirements, they can be creative in their teaching. For a small school, it is amazing how many opportunites there are for extra-curricular activities as well as special area classes during the school day. The new principal is very inviting and involved. We love the school!!!!
St. Elizabeth offers a challenging learning enviornment that encourages high expectations for success. The entire staff is truely committed to nurturing high self-esteem and respect for others by fostering positive relationships between the teachers and the students. This school strongly encourages parent involvement and the communication between the class room and the home is exceptional. The new principal is phenomenal as well as respected!! He is involved in all aspects of the school and is dedicated to ensure that SEASCS provides a quality education in addition to strengthening and enhancing the values students first acquire in their homes. My son is currently attending his fifth year at St. Elizabeth and we are delighted to be a part of such an outstanding & caring family atmosphere.
We have two children enrolled at SEAS and we couldn't be happier. The school's administration is excellent led by a terrific new Principal and a host of wonderful teachers. The student-to-teacher ratio is excellent compared with the public schools which have thousands of kids. We know everyone, everyone knows our children. Our kids are people not numbers and they get lots of personal attention and instruction. We have friends with children in the public schools and they have told us that the SEAS curriculum is at least one, if not potentially 2-3 academic years ahead of the public schools.
SEAS is school that far exceeds expectations. It is a school where students feel they are part of a family, not just a number. The teachers take a genuine interest in each student and go far beyond job teaching requirements creating a "want to learn" environment for students. Having had other children who attended public schools in Flager County, the academic and social benefits gained by my son, currently enrolled, is second to none in our area.
By far, the most excellent K-8 education available in Flagler County. High performing curriculum that teaches to the higher denominator not to the lowest. Dedicated teachers, small classes, top technology and media labs, music, P.E. etc. Plus it is a Jesus centric Catholic education.
St. Elizabeth is a wonderful catholic school. Without question, the best school in this area. My daughter has been attending SEASCS since mid kindergarten. I took her out of Belle Terre elementary due to the lack of control the teacher had over the class, and the public schools requiring to teach to pass the FCAT. I am totally against the FCAT, IOWA is fine-that's what SEASCS uses. My daughter's reading is very fluent, math skills and writing skills are above average. Learing in the classroom is definitely taking place. Additionally, the structure and discipline is second to none. We could'nt be happier. The faculty is warm and geniune. These people love teaching children and the kids feel it.
Beware, Very unhappy with the teachers. They were not child friendly. Lack the skills needed to teach simple math. A smile on the outside does not mean a happy class.
EASCS has the best learning environment a parent could ask for. Teachers are devoted to help students excell. Students come out with a solid foundation in academics as well as life skills, especially values, which are so rare to find in today's youth.
