Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

CFA is great school and very family oriented environment. You receive the best of both worlds at CFA, world class academics and spiritual teachings and reinforcement for your child. The teachers and principal make a point to have a personal connection with each child and their family. The tuition is expensive BUT very much worth and definitely less expensive than some neighboring private schools. My child loves the school and I couldn't imagine her anywhere else.

I recently decided to send my daughter to this school based on others review's. I was greatly disappointed. On day two I was told my daughter could not speak. I was appalled and could not believe my ears. I questioned myself when I should have been questioning the ethics of the teacher and the school. Within two weeks I was removing my daughter. I find that this school talks the talk and does not walk the talk to say the least. Everyday I picked up my daughter from school my stomach was in knots. All I ever heard was the negative. Never did I hear the positive. I can not imagine how my daughter was treated in class. I made the effort to reach out to the higher up's and felt disregarded. I feel that if you can't function at an optimal level as a teacher when a child doesn't meet your expectations then you need to re-evaluate the situation and try another approach. I believe this school is smoke and mirrors...not willing to face the truth. I know I made the best decision to remove her because in her new school they actually care. Moral of the story.....don't always believe what a teacher says about your child. Teachers are there to guide not diagnosis.

Its great to see that with the name of god a school is open as an academy. Its really nice to see this. Moreover as Christ Fellowship Orlando, Christ Fellowship Miami as all are called as "body of Christ". Really, its good for children.

It saddens me I am unable to send my grand daughter to this school because it is soooooo very expensive. It is a lost spiritual and educational opportunity for her.

Christ Fellowship Accademy is phenomenal. The teachers and staff have so much love to give that it's like one big, happy family. Our child not only got a fabulous education there but also grew spiritually. in our opinion, it is the best elementary school in Palmetto Bay.

Amazing!!! I had a terrible experience with the Public School system. I have two of my little ones at the CFA and I couldn't be more thankful. I have witness my children's growth intellectually and spiritually, what more can a parent ask for? The teachers are truly a delight and communication with them is daily.

Our two children attended from K-3 thru 6th grade. It was a great experience in all areas. The new principal (2009/2010) has made some exciting changes and is doing an awesome job. I highly recommend CFA!

Cf Academy have always been an awesome school, both my boy attended from preschool through elementary and have excelled in everything they do. The Biblical foundation and excellence in teachers and how the love and pour their time and energy into helping each child is amazing. This year has been incredible with a new principla came new ideas and exciting experiences. They have an amazing Kpals, preshcool program that give them a huge headstart. I am so appreciative that my boys were able to experience it.

Christ Fellowship stands a part from other schools. The environment feels like family and teachers know the students' names from other grades. The curriculum is complemented by wonderful specialty classes..such as computers, accellerated reader, art, music, p.e. and even gardening.. Both of my children have attended C.F. and gone on to excell in m.s., h.s. and in college. I would recoommend C.F. to any family looking for an excellent school.

My two children have been attending Christ Fellowship Academy since K-3. I worry about which middle school they will attend after they leave here, since nothing I have seen even comes close to the environment and excellence our family has experienced at this school. The values and spiritual foundation that has been laid here is priceless, as well as the love and encouragement they have received yearly from each of their teachers. What a wonder ful 2nd home for my children!

My children currently attend the K-Pal transitional program and I can tell you that their improvement has been nothing short of dramatic. The teacher is very caring yet stern, the class sizes are small, communication with the teacher is easy. My children are happy and excited to go to school. The activities are creative and instill new concepts. My son's social & cognitive skills have made drastic improvements. My daughter has just taken off. I am very pleased with their progress and also the fact that the school is a Christian faith school. I am at peace everyday knowing that they are at Christ Fellowship.

My nephew is currently enrolled in this school and I am shocked to say that for lack of communication from the teacher they are now saying that several children will need tutoring in order pass on to the next grade. For this reason he will no longer go to this school next year. They told us at the begining of the school year that if the child was not at par with the rest of the class he would catch up in no time. Now he needs tutoring with 4 weeks left of school because the teacher is so introverted that she won't even return a parents phone call, While the parent is getting desperate. Warning this school and it's administration are not worth your time, money or worries...

I am very disappointed with CFA this year, We were promised at orinetation that the jammed packed classes of 26 students with the third grade teacher taking over K-5 was not going to affect the students. In all honesty it has, Not to mention the principal that we all grew to love along with office staff were all replaced 5 days before school started. I have taken my child out of this school for that reason. After investing my money on what I thought would be a positive and learning experiance for my daughter ended with absolutely no communication from the teacher, Extra money for tutoring, Not to mention lack of security on the school grounds. My daughter is now at St. Kevin's and We love it. My daughter is not behind anymore and feel truly blessed God guided us in this path.

My son attend's CFA and I could not be happier with the school. The teacher's and staff are all involved in helping the children with any challenge's they may have along with always having their door's open whenever you have a concern. As a first time mom I want my son's school expreiance to be the best and this school has proven that to me above and beyond. I cannot wait for the new school year to start to see all the new learning and personal expreiance's my son will have. This is truly the best investment you can make for your child's future and they will make true friend's forever, You will as well.

My kids went all the way through the Academy. I have never been sorry I made the sacrifice and I appreciate every sacrifice made by the staff who taught and nurtured them as they grew. It is a wonderful school and I pray it continues to help families train children up in the way they should go.

Love the school! It has truly become a home away from home for us! My daughter started there this year in the new KPals preschool program, which is geared perfectly for this age group. Lots of hands-on learning and the curriculum really focuses on the child as a whole. The teachers truly love the children and love what they do! I definitely hope to keep my child here until she can graduate from CFA!

The school is said to be a ministry of the church. However, no other ministry of this church has to be 'self-sufficient'. It is not treated equally however Christ Fellowship leadership would like to force school staff to spin it. It is a great school. Would be nice if the leadership of the church really did care about the school. Put your money where your mouth is CF!

There were no budget cuts from church to school...they operate completely separate from each other when it comes to budgets...the church completely supports the school in it's endeavors for the future. As a parent, I have found that the new administration has brought freshness to the school, with a new vision for the future. The families that are there are supportive and happy. A wonderful school, with such a strong Christ centered education..what more could you ask for.

My son has attended here for the last three years. I am proud to say that I have had nothing but great experiences at this school. They offer so many specialty classes such as gardening, art, music, P.E. Most importantly they focus on keeping Christ first in their teaching. The school has recently undergone administrative changes that were needed. The atmosphere is upbeat, friendly, and loving. I couldnt ask for a better school for my son. Prices are comparative to schools with less to offer.

This was at one time a loving, academically challenging school with a great reputation in the community. This past year things changed so much that I took my children out. It is a shame changes were not made sooner to save the reputation of this wonderful school.

This school has just had major staff changes, the popular principal and several staff are no longer on board as of four days before the new 09-10 school year, leaving many parents in shock at the large maximum capacity class sizes. The school is a ministry of the church, and their budget cuts have disrupted this once amazing school. The class for K5 and 1st grade is overflowing w/ 25 students, one teacher and and aide. The church/schools refusal to divide the class into two classrooms has damaged its credibility. I see this school suffering from its own church led actions. With raised tuition, their should be no budget cuts. I expected more as my children have attended CFA over the past 20 years. The new K-Pal program is a joke, very geared for babies and not up to academic standards,

I attended the school when it was PBA. I ended up working there as a teenager and it has had such a great influence through my life. You get the attention you deserve, as a student. There is always someone that can help you. The classrooms are so awesome! They have different themes for each room. :)

My son just finished Kindergarden at this school and is on his way too first grade! I can't even put into words how GREAT this school is. The teachers are wondeful. My son has learned to read, add and subtract numbers and he even knows how to write in cursive handwriting all in Kindergarden! Everday my son went and came home from school happy never complained once. He loves his school and is excited for 1st grade! What more can a parent ask for!!

My daughter is now in 2nd grade at this school and she has been there since Pre-K3. I like the safety and cleanliness of the school. The ratio children to teachers is great. The campus has undergone vast improvements in the last two years and is beautiful, more importantly my daughter has been blessed with WONDERFUL teachers. The tuition is a little pricey, however I feel it is money well spent, I only wish they went up to 8th grade.

I'm an alumni of Perrine Baptist Academy, and I must say that this school was the foundation of all that I know today. They taught and encouraged me throughout my k-5 to 6th grade years there. If you want your child to grow and learn in both spiritual and academic ways, then this school is the place to go! I am in a public school now, and because of the morals and standards that this school has taught me, I am an A-B student who has a bright future ahead! ThAnK PbA!

About this school

We offer the VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) program for those students entering Pre-K4. Please contact our Admissions Department for more information. Our school is actively involved in the community, and "reaching beyond" in helping those in need through sharing with them the love of Christ. Each class is required to participate in a minimum of two annual "Reach Beyonds" where they choose a group or organization to give back/assist. In addition to our Reach Beyonds, every month we have a monthly school-wide mission project where we ask all of our CFA families to participate in. Some of those missions projects have been: donating clothes and supplies to assist with the disaster relief in Haiti, donating our used uniforms to children in El Salvador, collecting coins for Pennies for Patients to help children with luekemia, and many more! We always want to instill in our students the importance of living each day like Christ did and sharing His love with others.
