Congratulations to Mrs. Wise, Bay District Teacher of the Year! We are so proud of you and all the wonderful teachers at Cherry Street. My children love Cherry Street and the "Smart Board" technology is unreal. They are learning so much. I can't say enough about this school.

I've had four children at Cherry Street school over the past 9 years. Mrs. Cox at Cherry Street has always been responsive and attentive to my children's needs. She has a great team of excellent, caring teachers. An A+ school, all the way around!

Academic programs are outstanding and start at the Pre-Kindergarten level. They are not only graded in music, art, and sports, but they are challenged. School activities involve not only the parents, but they also include grand-parents as well.

I think Merriam Cherry Street Elementary School is one of the best in the county. My daughter went there and she's 23 now. My two sons now 14 and 11 also attended there. The staff from the front office to the lunch room staff have made my children stay there great. My youngest son teachers went above the call of duty to help him and Mrs. Cox is the best. I'll miss coming on campus and the wonderful people there. Merriam Cherry Street Elementary is an A school in my book. I'm impressed with Mrs. Cox, the principal, how she knows the children name and don't forget them. She make the parents feel welcome on campus at anytime.
