Northside Elementary School

I have 3 sons that attend Northside and have been very pleased with the teachers, guidance counselors, and staff. The teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure my children, as well as all the children, are learning what they are required to.

I am vey happy with this school, my son is a special student which means he need extra help , his teacher is the most caring hard working teacher i ever met, the hole staff is very helpful and kind, in varous ocassions his teacher wait beside him until i came to pick him up to tell me personaly any important news (good or bad) I dont thinks he well never forget a person that without being family belive so much in his capacity to always do better. Mrs White is an example of love and dedication for my son. Thank you.

I enrolled my son in this school after hearing only great things about it. It was an A rated school and thought that as a parents I was making a great choice for my son; but I now wish that I had not placed him in this school. I do not feel that all of the staff are always honest and I do not feel like the children are trated equaly. Don't get me wrong there are some great educators in this school but it certanly dosn't meet my expectations. My son was so excited about school and he now says that he hates it and wants to find a new one.

This school has been a big disappointment. I really wish we had never enrolled. Their quality of care for the students is extremely low. My son went from being very confident to having almost none in a month's time. You can voice your concerns to the staff and the principal, but you will be met with getting the run around and complete lies. Some people may find this to be a great school, but as a former student myself..I can say that this school is not what it used to be. For the sake of yourself and your children, please find another school.

I've been going to this school for the past 3 years and it is the best I have ever gone too. It is my last year here at Northside and I have had a lot of fun and got a huge amount of learning experience. I really recommend this school for your child.

I have 3 children at Northside Elementary. 2 teachers we are very pleased with, 1 teacher we are not so pleased with. Overall it is a good school. Not nearly as good as Tyndall Elementary which my children went to before Northside.

This school is among the best in the area. Although a lot of students have high stress levals because of the achievement levals expected of them.

Wonderful, hard-working, caring staff. Children are taught to use good manners and to maintain a currency of respect toward their teachers. This school provides a healthy, flourishing, learning environment for all of its students. (See FCAT scores!) Parental involvement is highly encouraged. On a weekly basis, parents are kept informed of the students progress. This is the best school in Bay County.

My son has been attending this school for the past 2 years and we had an awesome experience in his first grade year. Mrs. Burleson is awesome! This year has been the complete opposite. We have had trouble placing him in advanced classes and have had to resort to private schooling to challenge my son. A miserable 3rd grade experience, look elsewhere!

Very responsive school with seemingly excellent safety measures. School staff stays on-top of student attendence and progress. Very good parent involvement as well.
