My child just completed Grade 1. She maintained high honour roll for the entire year thanks to her teacher. Her students like her very much and she is good with her kids. I also got reviews from other parents that the second grade 2 teacher is just as good and fellow parents are looking forward to having her teacher there kid as well.

I love my son's teacher, he had her for kinder and 1st. She is just excellent with the kids. The school is a good school, but I think administration needs some help and they will be BETTER school. There are not enough parents invloved in the school and I feel that they get away with not doing the hours required to stay at the school.

THis is an excellent school for any parent who want a private school setting in a charter/public school setting. The curriculum is superb and the teachers are experience. The Principal and teachers are friendly and professional. Their best interest in your child. The school works hard to bring resouces the learning program. All students are learning.

About the tests

In 2013-2014 Florida used the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT 2.0) to test students in grades 3 through 10 in reading, 3 through 8 in math, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 4, 8, and 10 in writing. The FCAT 2.0 is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Florida. The FCAT 2.0 has 5 achievement levels, with level 1 being the lowest and level 5 the highest. Florida considers scores of level 3 and higher to be on or above grade level. The goal is for all students to score at or above level 3.

About the tests

Florida uses School Grades to measure the overall performance of a school each year on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
