Hello :) Both my children go to this school, and my opinion is, is that this is a wonderful school. I volunteer here, and work with the teachers, principal, and other staff as well. I know there is a lot of attention given to the students education. I (me and my family - were military) have been to a few different states(and schools), and a couple different schools in the Escambia school district here, and have found by personal experience, that this school (staff) is caring, and are very motivated to help the students get a good education. But, it would be nice to have more parent involvement in the school. My kids love their school :) When you first walk in the building, and go to the office, you will be greeted by some wonderful ladies, who will help you right away :) Go Tigers ! Sincerely, Wendy Brunelle
I am not pleased with this school. The first chance I get, I am moving out of this school district. The principal does not seem to truely care about what is going with the students.
my daughter went there and now her son. my grandson very very very fine school and the best of the best teachers are there
Great teachers, if the administration would let them teach.
Love this school. This is my son's first year there and he loves it. He had a lot of problems at his other school. He had a hard time keeping up with there teaching styles. His teacher here at Myrtle Grove has been so patient with him. He has been on the honor roll all year, so far.
Awesome school. But one complaint is they dont give bumper stickers to honor roll students. I want to show off my boy. Lol!
This is my son's first year in school. He was not very happy about going to school when he first started, but his teacher was so patient and really made things easy for the both of us. The staff is great. My only complaint is the lack of physical activity the kids are involved in. I do think this is a state wide problem not for just this school. Overall I would give it an A+. I am a grandparent of a student at Myrtle Grove. I am so proud to see the parental involvement in the school. PTA's are well attended and on the Friday of lunch attendance there were well over 200 family members present to share lunches with their children. This is a show of what a great school you have when you have parents who want to be involved with their children's education. My granddaughter is in her first year of school and her teacher is Miss Nikki. She is a joy to work with and her love of teaching shows in the patience and kindness that she gives each of her students. If all your staff are as caring as this young lady our children are in great hands. Early education is so important and knowing she is being instructed by someone who cares is very comforting.
Great school with teachers that care about the students. No complaints.
This is our first year @ Myrtle Grove. I have a 1st & 4th grader. We had moved from out of state and found it pretty easy for our kids to adjust. They have a friendly staff. If I were to have any complaints it would be the exessive P.E. they have and the fact they don't have a normal recess.
