Hellen Caro Elementary School

My daughter attended this school in kindergarten. Although we appreciated the open door policy very much - parents can walk their children to class EVERY morning throughout the year, etc, our observations were that the school staff often yelled at students, barked orders. The car line staff yelled at my daughter on her 1st day of kindergarden causing her to cry. Terrible! Her teacher was very reactive and did not respect the children as actual human beings. The office staff are not friendly. We do not miss this school.

My son has been going to this school for 3 yrs and he has been doing fantastic. He is a special needs child and all of his teachers have been amazing. They are there for him and meet his needs. I love this school.

The school is a rich welcoming environment . The teachers are the best. My son is in K and can sit down and read a book all by himself. The school offers so many special activities and events which really help to create a sense of community. We are all very proud to be part of Hellen Caro Elem. I am wowed and in wonder any time I visit at the artwork of the students displayed inside and outside of the building. The school carnival was great fun. My son loves his school. His teacher is amazing! Hellen Caro provides a wonderful education.

A fantastic school with some of the most energetic, professionals I have ever worked with. I have worked at this school for 14 years. The attitude and caring nature of the staff and teachers is reflected in the students themselves. Hellen Caro is a safe, fun place to go to school and learn. Our special area staff, music, art, physical education and media center are top notch as well as the facitlities!

Hellen Caro is a wonderful child centered school. We have a motto at our school that 'We are here to learn.' Our parents are very supportive all the schools programs and activities. Caro teachers are excellent, caring people. Our principal and assistant principal are very loving and very professional. This is my eleventh year to teach there. It is truly an 'A' school.

Hellen Caro is such a Wonderful School. My daughter goes to PATS there once a week & she wished she had went to that school through her whole Elem. yrs. They are ALWAYS having Fun Family things to do at the School, ALWAYS there to HELP NO MATTER what the problem is & ALL of the TEACHERS are ALL about TEACHING & HELPING STUDENTS which most of all of our other ELEM. Schools do NOT. Hellen Caro ROCKS!!!

Hellen Caro is a fantastic school. As a parent of a first grader and employee at the school, I am very pleased with the academic plan here. Teachers and students are happy, and the atmosphere throughout the hallways is positive and friendly. I love being a Caro Captain and cannot wait for my daughter to attend as well.

Helen Caro is an excellent school with many caring, dedicated, passionate professional teachers. The teachers go out of there way for their students needs and progress in learning. Every one in this school really cares and it shows. One big happy family of teachers and staff that makes this school the best in Florida. Hellen Caro is an excellent school. I would definately reccommend it especially for military families. They are very big on reading and always try to work with the parents and students if thier is a problem. The teachers are top notch and truly care about thier kids. We are transferring out soon and I can say we will miss this school!
