Terrible school, administration is horrible, teachers are rude as along with the entire staff. I would highly recommend not to send your child here.

Plant City is a great school. You know everyone and you may not like everyone but you learn to deal with it. Plant City has the envirnment to make you a better and the best person you can be. The teachers and administrators are great. They know many people and will get to know you as a person if you don't have a problem with that.

PCHS is a great school. Most, if not all, the teachers are nice and the administration is good. The classes here are amazing. Most school don't offer a lot of the ones PCHS does. It's a pretty awesome school.

OMG! PCHS is the best school. it has a wonderful principal, great administrations, great staffs. the only thing i dont like is some of the teachers, well one of my teacher makes us remember all the definitions that she gives us, and on the quizzes you have to write the definitions that she gave you, no more or less. and i really dont have time to memorize 5 definitions in 4 days 'cause i have other homeworks to do and other things to study for. but i really like PCHS it cool!! there are a lot of activities to do and sports to play. Go Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Plant City High School, as did my two older brothers, and I have to say that I loved every minute of it. Extracirricular activities were diverse and available to anyone that wanted to join; the prinicpal strives for academic excellence, and the teachers (that I had, at least) cared about their students. Because of the school I was prepared for college and even for the world. When I have kids, if I still liver here, I plan on my children attending.

I went to PCHS for my first semester of Freshman year. I am currently enrolled in a school in a diffrent county and compared to PCH... it's HORRIBLE. The teachers here are better but AP classes are only offered to upperlcassman. The have little to choose from when it comes down to electives and only three languages to pick from. Plant City had so much more to offer it's students, especially seeing as it had such a large amount of diffrent races within the school Plant City is a bit overcrowded but overall it's an amazing school. To all incoming freshman: Do your best to get Mrs. Luce for English, she's the best teacher at PCHS.

I am a third generation Plant City High School grad. I have lived in a number of other cities around the U.S.,including Colorado Springs, which is in one of the top rated school district, I can say that Plant City is one of the best schools I have dealt with. The academic and athletis exellence is amplified by the communities amazing support for the school. I can say the school is spoiled after seeing some othe cities either be completely uninterested in the local school or have to many local schools to give quality support to just one. And lastly after being one of Principle Coleen Richardsons students at her various levels of service to the school I can say no one is better at getting students through the challanges of high school than she is.

I have not been exactly thrilled with Plant City High's quality. I find them lacking in both teacher quality, principal leadership and safety and discipline.

The academic programs at Plant City are exceptionally well. At Plant City there is an open enrollment AP system which allows any student who wants to take an AP course take it. The only problem with this is that some students who don't have the work ethic nor the discipline to be in such a course are allowed to take it. This makes classes that should be much smaller larger and increases the work load on teachers. I think that the school is understaffed but that's not the school's fault, it's the county's, and even with these difficulties I still think that the school is a great place for students to attend due to its wide variety of classes and diverse student body population. I've loved every second I've spent at Plant City.

I grew up in PC and went to High School here. I thought this would be good for my daughter as well, I was mistaken. I agree that the counselors have no idea about the students they are advising. And getting teachers to reply to emails is just ridiculous. I think a lot of the teachers are just their for the paycheck and that is really sad with a school this big. And if you have a child that struggles in school this is definitely not the place for them. I will give credit where it is due. There are a handful of teachers who go beyond what is expected, but not many. I hope the school takes these reviews into account and makes some changes.

I have been very disappointed in the counselor ratio. These counselors have no idea who their students are. With a school this large there must be more. When the only time you see a counselor in 4 years is when you are in trouble is just not acceptable. Regardless, no school should be this large without adequate staffing.

Plant City offered my kids a great place to learn and apply themselves in music.

I personally do not like plant city high. Some of the teachers there dont care if you pass or not. They just give you the work without explaining it. Oh, and if you miss a day they assumed you where skipping even when you bring in a yellow slip. Kids at plant city are so cruel and unruly.

plant city high school has a very diverse population which can sometimes lead to problems among the students that i feel arent always taken care of in the best manner. the academics are o.k. but the vocational programs are the major things that they have got going for them....from agriculture to the healthcare program they are great but they definitely need to work on some aspects of the student body and the order of things.things around the school were smoother before the change of staff such as the principal and many of the assistant principals.

Friendly Environment, Losts of opportunities to excel. Student abilities vary widely but if they work hard, there is no reason why they cannot meet the state standardized test level. Scores are improving as teacher quality improves.
