A great school. Everyone is so nice. They have a great PTA that has been doing some amazing new projects. They started planting gardens with some of the grades and are hoping to have gardens for all classes and grades for the next year. My daughter loves the school and her teacher. I would definitely recommend this school.

I have a child in college, a senior in highschool and twins in the 1st grade at Peters this is the first school that I have seen that the principal opens the car doors for the kids and always greats them with a smile. I love Peters Elementary they really care about the children.

My daughter started Kindergarten this year. Before starting at Peters I had asked around. And one of the answers I got was it is not a big school but its like getting a big hug every day. You will not get lost in the shuffle of a big school. My daughters teacher goes above and beyond and I can see that is a trait that others in the school including administration also has. I would recommend this school to anyone.

My son went here in second grade, and it was very unpleasant for him. He has ADHD and medicated, so he can be a handful. The teacher was always yelling at him, and telling him not to cry about it, hes "not a baby anymore". He was secluded from the rest of the class and had to sit alone all year, and he was bullied daily, and nothing was done about it. When I spoke with the staff to have him put in a different class, I was told that's imposable because all the other classes are "over capacity". They were too focused on the students that are doing well, and not helping the kids that need it. Unfortunately he is back there for 3rd grade, but we are hoping to move soon to get him in a school that will treat him better.

I went to Peters elementary as a kindergartener and partial first grader till I switched schools. I'm a sophomore now but I always reflect upon my time there ever so often and it opens up my mind for inspiration and creativity. The vibe I get off of just remembering the school is just awesome and I find it weird that I think like that but what I'm saying is, is that the school is a fantastic school to go to because of its deep impact it has on you as you grow up as a child.

Peters Elementary School has an amazing principal, Mrs. Sedlack. She knows the students by name and enjoys spending time to get to know them as individuals. Mrs. Sedlack, fully supports the arts making sure that they are included in the school's curriculum. A warm, friendly, compassionate, and dedicated staff work together to provide a good education for my children.

We moved to Florida a year ago and were not sure which school would be the best fit for our son. With so many choices, our heads were spinning. We toured several elementary schools and after a trip to Peters and meeting the office staff and principal, we knew our search was over. The principal personally gave us a tour of the school campus, made us feel like part of the Peters family instantly and answered every question we threw at her. Every morning/afternoon you will find her in the car pick up line, greeting every child by name! Our son's 2nd grade teacher was equally impressive and we can attribute his successful transfer to Peters to her dedicated mentoring, positive attitude and desire to see each child be challenged to reach their full potential. We also found the PTA to be excellent and committed to partnering with the school in its growth, funding such programs as Accelerated Reader (AR). As parents, our input and suggestions are always welcome, as is our involvement in the classroom, field trips, school events, etc. We honestly couldn't be happier with the school/staff/PTA.

We have been completely thrilled with Peters. We find the staff to be friendly, the teachers caring, and the principal to be present at nearly every school event. It is clear that the students take pride in their school, and that they are challenged not only to think outside the box but to function in our ever-changing world. We feel very lucky to be a part of the Peters family!

Peters is a fabulous school and I couldn't be happier! My children have attended since K and are now entering the 2nd and 4th grade. One of my children are in the gifted program and the staff and Principal couldn't be more promoting and accommodating to his needs. This school is moving in a cultural and academic direction that surpasses any other elementary school in the area. It is hands-on, paced according to child-learning, and the student-teacher ratio is fabulous! The extra-curricular activities they do are enriched and my children are just thriving! We love Peters Elementary whole heartedly and wild horses couldn't drive us away!

GREAT SCHOOL!!! We have 2 children attending Peters and they are both doing extremely well. The teachers do a wonderful job and the PTA is amazing. I believe that teachers make a difference and at Peters the teachers truly care about your childs overall well being and educational goals. My wife and I both highly recommend this school.

I have had my child in Peters Elementary for two years now and I love it. Especially transferring from a horrible private school. He had a rough start, but the teachers were great. He went from not knowing half of what the other kids knew to now in 5th grade doing outstanding. I do admit the staff and the PTA is great. I am going to miss this school when he leaves to middle school.

I'm extremely happy with Peters Elementary. From the principal down to the cafeteria staff, they are all warm and friendly people, and being such a small school (of approx 600 students), they know each and every child well. I find the quality of education is exceptional, and despite the vast budget cuts throughout the county, the principal is focused on improving technology so that the students remain competitive. My son is very happy at the school.

This is our first year at Peters Elementary and we couldn't be happier! The school grounds are beautiful, my son's teacher is very experienced, up to date with technology and really cares about her students. The principal is very accessible and is doing an excellent job with the school. The PTA is very active and well organized. Peters is about 1/2 the size of many other Broward elementary schools which is really nice, because my son is personally known by all staff members and drop off/pick up is very well organized. I have absolutely no complaints about the school. We thoroughly investigated other schools as options, and I'm so happy we decided on our zoned school. It was a great decision.

The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
