I love this school! I started my kids in pre-K at this school and it has been amazing watching my kids learn! My oldest kid could read at a second grade level in Kindergarten and learns things really fast! My second kid did not grasp things so quick as she is more of a visual learner and took longer to pick up reading. She started the 1st grade year barely able to read and now after 2 mos. she is reading chapter books! The one-on-one time that the small classrooms provide are priceless! I won't send my kids anywhere else!
My son previously went to Atlantis Elementary, and struggled because of the lack of one on one attention. My son had an extremely difficult time with math at Atlantis. He never got a good grasp on the basics. After being at Campus Charter for only one year, he has made a complete turn around. He has made honor roll every semester, is being challaenged by the work daily, and gets great one on one attention from the teachers. The small class size is a super plus, I wish I would have moved him sooner. I cannot say enough good things about this school. He now excels at Math!!! Thank you Campus, keep up the good work.
My son is a very outgoing child and the teachers at campus have been very patient with him. Their style of teaching each child exactly what he/she needs truly works!
Campus has done wonders for my daughter. Ever since she started attending there she loves going to school. Her teachers are very caring and the new administration is making some great changes.
My child now goes to another school because of all the changing that was going on there from last school year. But know that I take my other child to the Kidz campus I am see a lot of changes. They might be really slow with it but they are trying and taking really good care of the child at the same time. This school and there staff have been threw alot this past year, but I think now with the new owners its going to get alot better. I think the parent need to get more involved with the teachers and give them edvice at the same time. I did with my childs teacher last year and it seemed to help with child and teacher. Every child learns differently and this is what I liked about this school. They will do what ever it takes to help your child.
My children went here and the only thing i can say good about it is the teachers. Some of the staff is great but the director that they had had did not care about the kids at all, going on their 3 and 4 th teacher in one year is absurd!!! i feel bad for the teachers because the teachers are fabulous. They have no one looking over the curriculum so they wing everything that they do, i was very unsatisfied.
My son goes to day care at Campus Charter. He loves his teachers. The new administration running the school is great. They also added new playground equipment.
This school has the tools for success, great teachers and staff, involved parents and small class sizes. However their high staff turnover (three VPK teacher in one year for a single classroom) speaks volumes about the administration. They have a severe lack of classroom management skills as well no extracurricular activites to speak of. The teachers themeselves were wonderful, however the unprofessional enviroment drove educator after educator away. The have almost no services for exceptional needs children and very technologically behind. On to more minor things, the car loop is nightmare, the 'security' door leading inside may or may not be actually closed. They just started a school food program that does not allow your child to bring lunch if they want to. Please, if you are considering this school, ask if you want your child to learn or spend their day in a glorified daycare.
When I researched this school before I couldn't understand the mixed reviews I get it now. The Teachers are great but it seems like the are very resticted in how they teach. my child has also gone through 3 teachers and has a hard time adjusting. As soon as he gets used to one they change up again. I'm not sure if we will stay in this school or not. I'm confused.
Well, my daughter is about to be on teacher #5 in her 1st grade. She was devastated when teacher #4 left and now I have to deal with her loss once again. There is a very high turnover rate for teachers, the ones I have dealt with were very nice and seamed to love teaching, why the high turnover I have no idea. With my daughters 1st teacher in 1st grade, we saw absolutely no homework for her 1st 2 months, after I and at least 1 other parent that I knw of said something, we started seeing homework...on a Kindergaten level though. I swear she brought home paperwork that I helped her with in her Kindergarten class. We are constantly asked to provide supplies, make donations for supplies, and bring in snacks. I am glad I have no other children so that I wouldn't have them stuck here too.
