My child has attended NAU since the begining, I have been blessed to have great cluster teachers that communicate with me. Yes there have been many changes and turnover but like any job you have to do what is best for you and your family. I can't judge others for what I myself have done when I decide to change jobs. To respond to the previous comment that unqualified people substitute at NAU is inaccurate. I substitute for the school and I have a college degree as well as being a certified substitute in St. Lucie County. These teachers are teaching and parenting about 54 kids a day (if not more) and the job doesn't end at 3:15pm like you think. REMEMBER WHEN YOU POINT AT SOMEONE ELSE YOU HAVE THREE FINGERS POINT BACK AT YOURSELF. In short my child is happy and excelling academically I couldn't ask for anything more!

My son has been at Imagine since it opened and have been very pleased!! He has excelled academically and socially. The school has a real family feel where they encourage you to come and volunteer even in your child's classroom. They are a new school and they are working on getting their library up and running but each classroom has a library, for the time being. The science teacher is GREAT! They do lots of hands-on activities. His teachers all meet when there are conferences and talk about the good things too!! We have been very pleased with Imagine NAU campus.

IMAGINE A BETTER SCHOOL FOR YOUR CHILD. THATS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO. THEY'VE HAD 4 PRICIPLES AND TEACHERS WILLINGLY QUIT FASTER THEN WAITRESSES TURN TABLES. THERE ARE "TEACHERS" TEACHING THAT ARE NOT CERTIFIED TO TEACH AND WHEN A TEACHER IS ABSENT A PARENT SUBS FOR THE DAY. P.E. IS IN A PARKING LOT/ DIRT, THE ART CLASS IS A JOKE AND THE NEW PRICINIPAL WHEN SHE IS THERE IS SO SPACY SHE DOESN'T CARE WHAT IS GOING ON. THERE ALSO IS NO LIBRARY AND FOR BEING A NEW SCHOOL THERE IS MOLD IN THE CEILING IN THE CAFETERIA WHERE YOUR CHID EATS.THEY ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THERE ARE BEYOND REGULAR GUIDELINES FOR THE AMT. OF CHILDREN IN A CLASS. WOULD YOU LIKE OT KNOW WHY SO MANY CHILDREN ARE ON THE HONOR ROLL? WELL BECAUSE FIRST OFF SCIENCE GRADES GET HANDED OUT ON HOW WELL THE TEACHER LIKES YOUR CHILD SINCE THERE IS NO SCIENCE BEING TAUGHT AND FOR THE REST OF THE CLASSES QUIZ YOUR CHILD ON WHAT THEY ARE LEARNING? WHOS TEACHING THEM THE PARENTS ARE BECAUSE THESE "TEACHERS" HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THERE DOING. I GAURENTEE IF YOU SENT THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE YOUR CHILD WOULD BE BEHIND THIS IS WHY THERE A "D SCHOOL" BC WHEN IT COMES TO REAL TEASTING OUR CHILDREN HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON.. IMAGINE THAT

My children have been attending this school since day one. Both my husband and I are blessed with the teachers they have had and currently have. There have been changes but we see them for the good and with any new school, as growing pains. If you're looking for the perfect school, good luck, it doesn't exist. What you will find at this school are loving teachers/staff members who love the students as if they were their own. Parents are welcomed, as the school has an open door policy. This school actually encourages family interaction...Imagine that! The teachers are dedicated and actually don't go home at the sound of the bell. Communication has gotten alot better since 2009 and their always open to suggestions. Our kids are happy and that's our main concern. I'm a happy parent and staff member since 2009!

This is our second year in Nau we are pleased with their teachers I think they are outstanding. I have no problems communicating with them at any time. I think the new principal should be her next "budget cut". The turnover on teachers has been very disturbing to the children especially her cutting one of the best teachers the school had. That was so clearly personal it screamed misconduct on her part. She has no contact with the students or parents her ice wall would take to long to get past. If you rid the school of her you would have a 5 star school . Review and correct her "budget cuts" and you would have the best school in the district. The children should not be punished by her being out of control someone should hold her accountable. Who grades the principal? Whatever disarray is occuring at the school is all from her "budget cuts", the students and teachers are all waiting for the other shoe to drop. They need to drop her so everyone can take a breath and start to learn or teach.

My daughter is in first grade and in her 2nd year at Imagine Nau Charter School. I can not say enough good things about Nau. I have seen a tremendous amount of growth in just the short time she has attended there. She receives personalized attention from her all of her teachers and the staff is very friendly and truly looks out for my child's best interest. I love the small family environment this school provides. I highly recommend this school!

My son attends this school and I couldn't be happier about it. The attention he gets from the wonderful staff is everything that I could have hoped for and more. As for the changes--what school doesnt have growing pains? The teachers were let go for budget cuts NOT because the school authorities didn't like them! Support this school!!!!

My son has been with this school from day one, now he is in 3rd grade and they still has spool much to learn on running a school. 3 yrs in the running and I'm not happy at all. I have him on a waiting list to other schools that have a game plan. Not the school to put your children in.

I have been at his school sine it has begun, the teachers don't really have much respect of what other students do here. Many teachers are coming in and out of this school and drama between teachers go on and have distracted me. I've been on the A honor roll but closer to the end of the year, I began to loose it. We've been doing so much other work between drama in our class and the problem is, it doesn't have much to do with our education. Due to drama, we've been behind in almost all of our classes because teachers can't handle it and some have issues with temper. Kindergarten teachers too. I've seen the way some of the teachers act towards my brothers and they pick favorites on wheter your mother does alot of school work. I've been begging to leave this school, it's one that I would never want to one back to.
