My son, now in 6th grade is very happy at Andersen. Mr Albright, his teacher is an excellent teacher. Mrs Enos and Mrs Downey are excellent also. Too bad the principle is not excellent. She does not answer her emails

Hans Christian Andersen Elementary is a wonderful school with challenging academic programs and excellent teachers. Andersen Elementary is a cut above the private educational schools in Brevard County. I'm very impressed with the quality of education this school provides its students.

Both my children attend this school, grades 6 and 4th. We have had an overall wonderful experience here, probably the best school they have ever attended. We have moved around a lot so I have some experience, even with other so called "A" schools. Andersen tops them all, and the principle is wonderful. She is very caring and involved in all aspects of her school. What struck me most is that she encourages her kids to think about their future and the importance of doing well now so they can go to a good college in the future. No school is perfect, but this one I really can't complain about overall.

We have a fifth grade student and have been very pleased with all aspects of this school. The teachers, administrators, and school staff care about not only the well being of each and every student but also to ensure that each child is learning, thriving, and soaring to success.

My son receives extra attention via an independent educational plan supervised by the school. His performance continues to improve. I have only good things to say about the teachers. They really do care and try very hard. Behind the scenes, parents work hundreds of volunteer hours to help the teachers with teaching materials and provide much needed support for the support staff and faculty. The parents association and school advisory committee help focus on purchasing what the teachers and students need! I encourage all parents to get involved with the operation of any school their child attends.

We have a 9 y.o. son diagnosed with ADHD. Our son began at Anderson in Kindergarten and Anderson has been a wonderful school home for our son. The entire administration & staff are very supportive and are really there for the children! The school has a wonderful guidance counselor who totally cares about children and is very knowledgeable. I can't think of a better scenario for any child but especially for a child with disabilities. We've encountered only love, kindness, and understanding. The teachers really push the children to their limits to learn which is after all why our children attend school.

I have dealt with Andersen with 2 different children 4 years apart and the result was the same. I pulled my older child after 2 days and took him to Freedom 7 School of Choice and I took my younger son to Mila Elementary. If the lack of service and inability to think for oneself in the office is any indication of the level of education provided, I made the right choice.

Parents involvement does not guarantee the teacher or the principal are actually going to do everything possible to make sure your child progresses. Very unwilling to help kindergarteners who are struggling obtain the extra help/tutoring that they desperately need. 'A' school ranking is very misleading when it comes to this particular school.
