I am a parent of a new student enrolled in Royal Palm Beach High School and am looking foward to a great year for my daughter and myself. Her High School Years are extremeley important to us.
I like this school. My son graduated from this school, and yes , it was a cooperative effort between him, his teachers, and his parents. But, amen, it was done. Now my Super intelligent daughter is attending and I know she will do very, very, well. She was also blessed with great interested and involved teachers.
This is a good school. Alot of the teachers are actually caring and the administrators try hard to keep it on the up. Their sports activities are real good too, especially football.
School is very large, not prepared for 9th graders, they are left on their own to find their way, teachers don't care - for example don't give parent a call if your child is not dressing for P.E.
I'm truly hoping the new principle will bring a higher level of respect for authority to the school. I'm also hoping moral and ethical values will return to the campus and the activites that go on there. The hard working teachers need the support of the principle in keeping the class under control. The students need a safe place to learn. Good luck to the new principle this year and good luck to the students of Royal Palm Beach.
This is a great school. The principle is awsome. She is never locked up in her office like most principles and is always somewhere to be found on campus. Her staff is very supportive of her and the decisions she make on campus.
I think Royal Palm is a great school. The worst thing about the school is how parents don't give the principle a chance. They say she isn't good and don't like her tactics. However, they are great. Nothing but great things has happened since she has been there. Actually, she is the most successful principle in the history of Royal Palm. She is very sturdy and aggressive towards education which is a great thing. The extracurricular activities are also striving.
This school is a very good school, however, like all schools it does have its faults. For example, the administration is all African American and at times, there has been racial tension generated with how they deal with white students. The drama department is very well orchestrated, however, a new teacher is coming to the school for the 2005-2006 school year. The sporting teams at the school seem to do okay, but, they do not seem to ever win the big game. Since the teams at times fail, it is somewhat easier to make the team at the school than it might be at another school. Music, in terms of band is fantastic, and very competitive. The band has gotten straight superior ratings over the last few years. All in all, Royal Palm Beach High School is an educational experience that at times can falter, but most of the time shines.
royal palm beach hihgh school is at a great location and is a great architectural designe school, but the teachers are not understanding to students needs and feelings, and they have no respect for the students what so ever. How are students suppose to respect there teachers if there teachers arn't worthy of respect?
I felt that Royal Palm had good quality extracurricular activities and most of my childs classes were of high quality. But at this school not many parents seem to be involed with their childrens academics. I also felt that this school wasn't very good in discipline areas when it came to dress code. I saw many students dressed very inapropriate and out of dress code. I felt this school could've done a better job in dress code disipline. If I had to rate this school I would give it a D. thank you.
The principal is not appreciated and lacks in understanding of the children. She uses questonable means to engage in educations, is definately someone you do not want to oversee your children.
My son, a freshman at Royal Palm Beach High School, was a member of the Junior National Honor Society while in Middle School. I am pleased with the education that he is receiving at Royal Palm, which is also a clean and safe environment.
