Excellent staff and teacher, horrible administration. If your child has special needs (ADHD,reading disability, etc.) do not bother to enroll. The principal assured me that the school would be able to accomodate the needs identified on my child's IEP. I was very forthcoming with his issues. I even provided evaluations from his previous school and additional testing results. His teacher did not have a clue on the first day of school. Simply due to the fact that the principal did not bother to mention it. His teacher did what she could and I will always be grateful for that. The classes are large, even compared to public school. Also, if you are not a parishoner there, the "rules" are a bit different for your student.

I would recommend All Souls Catholic School in San Francisco to everyone! They stay up with modern learning technology to assist the children the best possible way in their learning endeavors. They also support learning outside of the classroom with field trips and some outdoor activities! My children are well on their way to a VERY bright future. - B.R.

I am a student at All Souls and I have no idea what I would do without All Souls! There are many people who inspire me each and every day at school! I feel like everyone there is like a family and we can be honest and share with eachother. The teachers are amazing and they all have made huge impacts in my life. They are so passionate about what they do and help us in any way possible. I love All Souls soo much and will miss it so much next year!
I am a recent graduate of All Souls and I would say that All Souls is the best school. My experience with the teachers throughout my years has been outstanding. They have prepared me for high school. The teachers work with you and help you in every way possible whether it be social or academic. I am in all honors classes in high school thanks to my middle school teachers. They have helped me establish goals that I will continue to strive for into college. In my opinion, there is no better school in all of Central Florida. I would recommend All Souls to any parent and student wanting a full education.
i think the school is doing great and the middle school especially! they go out of their way to help the students!

I am an ASCS graduate and am now a senior in high school. I have completed- with ease- the AP Language and AP Literature courses and have passed the exams, giving me numerous college credits. I attribute much of my success to my middle school English courses, taught by Mrs. Ahearn. She made the ever-monotonous learning of grammar, syntax, and diction more entertaining than I ever dreamed it could be! I distinctly remember -and still use- the 'Preposition Song' ( aboard, about, above, across, after, against, along...'). Diagramming never dies! Her sense of humor and her desire to see her students succeed instilled in me a life-long love of literature. I was asked to read again- in the IB program- many of the books that were read in my middle school literature classes. Upon reflection, I am grateful for many teachers in my past... particularly Mrs. Ahearn.
It's my pleasure to provide my personal review of All Souls Catholic School to future parents. My children are eager to go to school everyday! They love their teachers and feel like they belong. Having children in PreK-4 through 8th, I cannot emphasize enough how the teachers and principal uphold All Souls own Mission Statement daily. My children are spiritual, morale, intelligent, confident and have respect for others not only because I'm a good parent, but because they are surrounded by these same values everyday at school. The Middle School program is superior. Mrs. Ahearn has inspired my son to read! He loves her literature class. She empowers her students to be creative in their thinking and reasoning. She truly is the core of the team! Mr. Nadeau has kept my son s math skill sets sharp and recent testing places him at 10th grade math level! Mrs. Schirard s Science classes & labs are very informative. My kids love her!

the school is great but my child constantly tells me her middle school lit teacher gets off track and they dont do much, also the music teacher is very bad. i've heard only excellent things about the math teacher, he's great with the students and takes time with them.

I have been very pleased with the education and spiritual development of my children at ASCS. I could not be happier with the quality and dedication of our teachers. Daily my children are engaged and challenged. My friends and family are regularly amazed by the intelligence and maturity of my children, and the content of their education. It is my firm belief that ASCS is THE best school in Seminole County. Where our facilities are limited our faculty and staff make up the difference with dedication, commitment and ingenuity. Additionally, all the parents of graduates that I talk to say that their children were prepared for high school (and often better prepared than other schools children).

My child has been in this school since PK3. She loves it and so do we. The family friendly environment helps her to grow both academically and spiritually. To pick her up from school and watch her playing with children ranging from PK to 8th grade is a wonderful site. The well trained, caring, and compassionate staff has made this our best investment in her future. My son will be old enough soon to enter the school and we would not for a moment consider sending him anywhere else.

My child is a graduate of ASCS. ASCS. Enrolling our child in this school was the best decision my husband & I could have made. The work was challenging, and yes, there was homework in every subject area most evenings, but my child thrived -academically, spiritually, and socially. The strong academics and workload prepared her for the same stringent academics & workload in h.s. The school is to be commended for their dedicated teachers- many of whom have been at the school for over ten years. It is their dedication and investment in both the students and the school that help to create the loving & nurturing environment in which the students continue to thrive academically, as indicated by yearly test scores, and spiritually.

My children have gone through and continue to attend ASCS. The education they have rec'd is second to none. Do they have to work? Yes - thank you. When they get to high school and a great college they will have to work hard. I do not want my children dropping out of college because they have never had to work. I could not be happier with the education at All SOuls. The warmth and the care the teachers and teacher aides all show and have shown my children create an atmosphere where they thrive. My chidlren love school, look forward to it and excel in it. The curriculum is wonderful. Students consistantly go on to advanced coursework in high school. The school has proven results, blue ribbon school award, top 10% of school in the nation according totheir test scores. You cannot find a better school.

In K through 8th grade there are 10 teachers and 7 classroom aides. There are 5 specials teachers. There is homework every night for 1st through 8th grades. Often the teachers aides will grade classwork, homework, and projects. My child says, 'I can read peoples faces, and they are tired of teaching us - all of us'

I have two children that have attended All Souls Catholic School since Pre K3. My son will be graduating from All Souls this year and my daughter is in 4th grade. I can not say enough words to explain how well this school has and is preparing my children for high school! The school not only has high standards in their academics but they also have a very caring faculty. I would highly recommend All Souls Catholic School to anybody!

I am the parent of a current 7th grader at All Souls, and I have a high schooler who has been very succesful in all of her AP and Honors courses and will graduate next year with college credits 'under her belt'. We attribute much of her success to the advanced curriculum and the outstanding teaching staff at All Souls. Our middle school child is on the same academic track and will enter into an advanced program in hgih school as well. The school's national test scores have been and continue to be among the highest (top 10% nationally). The tuition is reasonable and is money well spent!

High standards for academics, social behavior, safety and a home like atmosphere is All Souls Catholic school. Teachers communicate with parents as often as parents request and are prepared to deal with leanring problems, social situations, and any other concerns. The Resource teacher assists students with learning needs by individualizing teaching techniques and methods in small groups every day. All Souls is not an elitest school by any means. With its small size the school still offers, a spanish teacher for all grades, a rigorous physical education department led by a long time and trusted teacher, and an art department that allows the talents of all students to flourish. Although the school has an old gym the new school will be a state of the art facility. As a parent with two children, one graduate and another about to, I strongly recommend All Souls.

Compared to other schools in the area (both public and private), ASCS consistently ranks among the best. There is a strong academic program (starting in kindergarten- Be forewarned!) and a close-knit student body. The small size of the school (fewer than 300 students allows the principal, teachers, and parent volunteer to know personally each and every student, but the small size limits the extracurricular activities and special programs the school can offer. The spanish program is especially weak. Children with special learning needs receive very little help and are often encouraged to attend other schools that are better able to handle their needs. Not all the teachers are created equal: some long-standing 'fixture' teachers are not aware of current teaching best practices but this could be an issue of little contemporary staff development. Regardless of its faults, the school consistenly turns out students who fare well in AP and IB programs.

In addition to high standards in academics, All Souls educates good citizens. The students are taught to be kind and understanding to one another. Having the school values match our values at home is wonderful. The teachers are great! Our children are getting a great education.
