This is a fantastic school! I have a son in Miss Sharon's Pre K class and she is just fantastic, as is Fruitville's principle Dr. Laura Kingsley. We are so happy to be apart of the Fruitville Elementry Family!
I would NOT reccomend this school at all!! Especially if your child has any special needs.. they keep them away from other general ed children in portables (only children that are in portables). They basically just warehouse your child instead of educating them. Recently removed my child from this school and it was THE BEST decision I ever made. She is doing wonderful at another school and is with gen ed children w/ support!!!! PLEASE if your have a special needs child don't consider this school!! they won't give your child what they deserve.
All the teachers are excellent at this school!!!!!!!! You couldn't ask for a better principal and atmosphere!:-)
We have had such a great experience at Fruitville - I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
The staff and the teachers all seem to work in symphony with each other. They are aware of the needs of each child and strive to meet those need on a daily basis. AND everyone, from the Principal to the very funny and personable grounds-keeper, is always smiling and cheerful.
Fruitville Elementary has been asn excdeptional school with some of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of teaching my children. They have been on top of my children with there difficulty in reading and have make sure that we as parents are involved and have took the time even on saturdays to help bring them up to speed in the areas that they needed more one on one with. Not many schools or teachers would permit someone donating there time to help children on the weekends. As a parent i think this school goes above and beyond. I would love to thank them all. thank you Jennifer Nott
My daughter attends this school in a ESE classroom setting. I would not recommend this school if you have a child with special needs. The teachers they hire are not qualified to work with child with special needs.
My son is studying in this school. I am happy with his studies and teaches. I belive school should give more homework and should have only 2-3 week summer vacation.
Quality of academic programs is very good and the music, art, sports and other extracurricular activities are avilabel active and well done. Level of parent involvement is over 63%.
Excellent school, meets my gifted son's needs in every way. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure a challenging and motivating environment. Most committed principal I have ever met! I Cannot recommend this school high enough!
