Generally I think my education from Riverview was pretty good. The selection of courses was pretty diverse and it offered at fair amount of Honors and AP courses.

Riverview has one of the best academic programs in Sarasota. It offers the IB program, honors, and AP classes. I have found that the teachers are for the most part dedicated and very competent. I have been very pleased with my experience. I found the extracurricular activities to be a great asset, especially the band. I am not yet sure if the Small Learning communities is a good thing, but otherwise Riverview is a great overall school.

From what I can ascertain, this school is a very good school both academically and in their sports, but especially in the music department. I am looking forward to becoming very involved as a parent and have enjoyed working with the teachers and guidance departments so far. There are so many classes from which to choose, as well as extracurricular clubs and groups, there is a place for everyone.

Great music departments. I.B. program needs a little more work but is worth the effort. The phisical structures need facelifting. The AP honors program needs to be polished.

My daughter graduated from RHS and my son now attends RHS. Fantastic teachers, safe enviornment. A+ school.

All three of my children have attended the International Baccalaureate program at this school, and have been challenged and grown beyond our hopes for them. The Kiltie Marching Band has 44 years of straight superior ratings in competition, and their drama program is excellent, too.
