The administrators lack of leadership and conversation skills make it hard to believe the kids are learning anything. The narcissistic principal, Nancy Lind, lives in an elementary-school world where she can lose her patience and hang up the phone on a parent. Then suspend students because she can't differentiate between two similar sounding last names. Not to be out done, the vice principal John Rose will speak "on behalf of" principal Lind, only to inform the parent he is incompetent and can't relay ideas or logic using the English language. The school is a joke. Considering how small it is, the leadership has no accountability and are incapable of making sound decisions that are in a students best interest. If you are the parent of a troubled teen, like us, you probably dont have anywhere else to send your kid, but be ready to have to call the school board.

The lunches are extremely bad and some of the kids can be mean but overall its pretty good

I go to this school. I don't think we should have worst lunches then a regular school just because we are bad kids. We should have the same priveleges besides field trips and out of school trips. Yes we have gang colors but we shouldn't have to wear these horrible, uncomfortable uniforms. If the staff is worried about gangs, they should just stop the kids who are obviously wearing gang colors. But atleast let us wear regular clothes. Also, we shouldn't have to have this over-rated search everyday. We're not all criminals. Some of us are just here for disrespect or something, like me. I'm just here for being rude. That's not a reason for me to have to get patted down and metal detected every morning. Yes, the teachers say it's for our own safety. But kids are still getting away with smoking behind classes. It's just a bad school.
