Hawkes Bluff Elementary School

all of three of my children have spent at least two years at this school and my youngest is going into secound grade this year. this school is abslutly brillant, the teachers are very, very invoved and care much about the children there, they have provided my children by teaching them everything you want your child to know and teach about morals and diffrent ways of grasping consepts and helping my kids through tough situations and family problumes. I am very very pleased with it.

Hawkes Bluff is the best elementary school in Broward County! Awesome teachers, administration, parents, and students. They are all about the children and their education. Everybody in the school has a way of making every child feel special. Hawkes Bluff provides children with a love of learning - that can't be beat!

Great school! You could not pay for a better education. Everyone at the school puts children first. From the time you walk in the front office, you get a feeling of a warm and loving environment. The teachers are the best! The principal and assistant principal are outside most mornings greeting the students as they come to school. The best!

They really push these kids. They separate children based on their abilities and work very hard to provide individualized instruction to the students. It's a nice bright atmosphere with a lot of parent involvement, lots of extracirricular activities and lots of communication between the scholl and the parents. I am very happy with my son's education.

Great school, especially the gifted program in which I was in. Thank you Mrs. Bellamy for teaching me in the 5th grade. There are very few extracurricular activites, and the ones HBE has are only for 5th graders. The morning news is a lot of fun and gives students an oppertunity to gain skills for the rest of life.

I have been with Hawkes Bluff for 6 years. My son is in 5th grade and will begin Middle School next year. My daughter is in 2nd grade. When my son started kindergarten I was more nervous than he was. I quickly saw that I had nothing to fear, as he was in a wonderful environment with teachers and faculty who provide a caring, safe and fun learning environment. I saw that the door was always open to parents who wanted to be involved and help out in any way, and being a part of it all will be a wonderful memory I will always cherish. I have to leave Hawkes Bluff this year, but I am very thankful for what the school has given my children-a wonderful education, a postive outlook on school, and a lot of really great memories. So if you are the nervous parent of a kindergartner like I was, or someone coming from another school, fear not-Hawkes Bluff is top notch!

It is a pretty good school, but it needs cleaner bathrooms and new books and supplies.
