Thank you to Ms. Mary for being a phenomenal kindergarten teacher! She is the best and goes above and beyond to show the children compassion!
Thank you to Ms. Claudia and Ms. Diana for teaching my toddler to be an individual, especially the whole potting training routine! That was extremely helpful at home!
Thank you to Ms. Angelica and Ms. Mirna for being the best Kidnergarten team!
Students enjoy sharing and are eager to be supportive of each others' feelings and emotions. They really respond to each other in positive manners and are empathetic to each other's decisions and feelings.
Students are well equipped through the academic curriculum and the patience and understanding of the teachers through Montessori strategies, to understand and demonstrate honesty, integrity, and fairness in a challenging society. I have yet to hear of any violence at the school, hatred among students, or other negative character traits that has been witnessed at many other schools.
This is an extrodinary school! Teachers are always warm and welcoming, students are polite and learn manners, and the overall environment makes me confident in my choice to send my children here. As a public school teacher, the curriculum at Apple Tree is by far the best I have experienced. The mix between the traditional and Montessori experiences truly create a strong foundation and prepares students for the future. I would not send my children anywhere else! Please go and visit during Open House in January! I'm glad I did a few years ago!
This school is full of unqualified teachers. When I asked the owner about their qualifications, she became very defensive with me. There is lack of structure, the children are not reading above grade level, and the school is very old and not taken care of. Stick with a school that has Nationally Certified teachers. Also, security is completely lacking considering this school is located right off the highway!!!
This is a terrific school if your child is inquisitive, smart, and enjoys being with great kids. Kudos to the teachers and administration for putting the fun back into learning! The school also has great after-school clubs. Don't judge a book by its cover. Just because a school is newly constructed does not mean it is better.
Not only are the classrooms and school old, the textbooks and classroom materials are very old and outdated as well. There is no structure to the curriculum, and when you ask administration, be prepared for them to get defensive and avoid your questions. The teachers are nice, but very inexperienced.
