Sparr by far is the greatest school on the north end of the county, My children went there and now my grandson is there and when i walked back into the school it was like i never left.... Sparr teachers, staff and students are the best. They all give 100% of love , time and caring for each person that walks through the halls. I will always be proud my children got their first start in life at this school.
My child has been at Sparr for 4 years and we love the staff and how they love our children. The teachers are so caring and love teaching them.
Sparr Elementary has always been a parent involved school. They teach are child to do The Big 3 and that is do what's right, do your best, and treat others the way you want to be treated. I believe we should apply this to our daily lives as adults and we would be where we are today. You always feel welcomed anytime you are at sparr.
As a former student, current employee and parent of a Sparr Elementary student, I would like to say that I think this school is wonderful. I have never been in a setting where teachers and staff care so much about their students.
Sparr elementary is a great school.
Sparr should get back to basics! Bring back art classes and more extracurricular activites! They have devoted all their time to making our kids great test takers! They have also started project child with classroom clusters. A good idea in theory but not a suitable arrangement for all students, and not once was this fact considered! They also have a problem with listening to the concerns of parents! If you have a child with certain special needs I wouldn't recommend this school! Also Sparrs focus on discipline is lacking to say the least! They focus on the smaller things! If a student is robbed of their small (but priceless to them)possessions their answer is always the same! It shouldn't have been brought to school! But I'm sure something as little as a pen or marker missing from a teachers desk is no longer trivial and demands immediate punishment! They hand out referrals without regard! Not good school.
I have been so happy with my childrens education. My child is in the gifted program and my child is consistently challenged. The teachers and principal are always available and helpful.
