Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I feel you as a parent need to be a strong advocate her. The administration is great! But I have found the teachers hard to deal with. Maybe it is that they are frustrated, but as a grandmother I have been through a lot of this before just as the administrators.

I am very satisfied with the teachers and how they work with my children but as goes for the bus assistant that my children ride with I have many concerns..My children have been going to maximo for many years but because of that one situation they will no longer be..Once again Maximo is a very good school but not the bus..P.S Mr.Brown had things in order...What happen

Maximo has a caring and supportive staff. The administration is optimistic and hardworking. I can also speak from experience and say that the teachers will do anything for the students and their families. In addition the magnet program is excellent! I love working for this school!

Great things are continuing to happen at the school. A new uniform policy, an improved school grade and clear consistent discipline at the school make parents like me optimistic.

While I am not a parent my 3 out of 4 grandnieces attended Maximo. The care staff showed to my grand nieces was excellant. Actually the care went far and above the usual care one gets at a public school. The reading prgram is outstanding it has to be one of the best in the state. As to extracurricular activities they do need more (especially music and arts). My niece and her husband were activly encouraged to maintain a high level of involvement with their children. I have seen at other schools a few request for parent teacher conferences but never have I seen the level of contact between teachers and parents.

I like the school however, I would like to see more focus on helping those kids who may need a bit more help in certain subjects at times. When I asked for help for my daughter from her teacher, the response was much less than I had expected.

I'm pleased with the progess that Maximo is making even with the changes the school has experienced in Principals. I feel that the teachers are caring and my children enjoy going to school. Which as a parent this is wonderful. We've been at Maximo 3 years and I would recommend them.
