Canoe Creek Charter Academy

very dissapointed with this school the principle is not much of a help to the students. Only have 1 or 2 teachers per grade so if you are kid is having problem with the teacher it doesn't matter they need to suck it up and fail and stay with the same teacher because the principle will not get involve and the kids doesn't come first they will not be able to transfer the kid from class.

This school has done wonders for my child and I am proud that he attends CCCA. He likes the atmosphere, teachers and other students and has a better understanding of the subjects taught. The class settings are smaller and tutoring is always offered for children who need it.

I have two children currently attending this school. There has been some recent changes in the staffing but the new team of teachers that my children have are all very positive and have done a great job with the children. I would like to see more of the Principal involvement around the school on a daily basis like the previous one did.

My daughter was attending a local public school and was having alot of problems learning. Canoe Creek Charter offered free tutoring and I decided to transfer her mid year. I am very greatful to the staff and teachers at Canoe Creek. My daughter has benefited greatly academically and socially since being at Canoe Creek. This upcoming year will be her 3rd year there and I couldn't imagine her going to another school. Their family oriented atmosphere makes it so easy to be involved in your childs education.

I was please with my kindergarten's overall achievment and advances. She was eager to learn (not to mention she had a wonderful teacher) and participate in any programs she was eligible for. I give it 4 stars.

I have my two daughters at this school and am very happy with it. No school is perfect and over the last year and a half I have had issues (which will happen at any school) but every time I brought my concerns to the principal the problems were taken care of ASAP. coming from up north ALL schools in FL are not as advanced but the individual attention, support and caring from the staff at this school is truly special. The staff truly cares about my children and I think that is just a valuable then the grade this school gets from the state. I am proud of this school and will continue to send my children.

I have a son in the fifth grade and he greatly happy in the school he has received lots of help from teacher, ESE specialist and the whloe staff. I also have a daughter in kindergarden and she is really happy as well. As a parent I am happy I know we are going through diffucult economic times but I think the principle Mrs. Carley and staff are doing there best. I recommend this school and hope they keep getting better.
