Im a student at Azalea Middle School and i think the school is Excellent because i overlook the fighting that happens there once in a blue moon. We only get bad pablicity when one fight happens in like 5 months. Stop trashing my school.Just ignore fights that happen, im in the Rennaisance Program 6th grade and its a blast. They allow you to eat in the class to make you feel safe so they put on a movie like the Wizard Of Oz. People say "what school are you going to"and i say Azalea Middle School what about you?"Then they look at me and say" Thats a bad school " but it actually is a good school. We do projects and competitions.I've gotten Honor roll 3 times and principal list my first time ever. When they answer they say " Madira Beach or Thurgood Marshal or elsewhere" but i don't care all i care about is my grades and family and safety. And i can asure you that i have full safety lunch, P.E. classes and everywhere else! Some people say they hate it but it is only thier opinion. And my opinion is that Azalea Middle School is Amazing,Excellent for me. We get to go on Field trips that are Educational like when we go to the Science Centers or to SPIFF.I am running out of characters now.

You think this is play time? I'm sorry but this place is too disruptive. Sure the teachers are great but there a lot of drug users and sellers. They fight and disrupt class while I'm trying to get an education. And the teachers deserve to have there respect. I think the bad children should be transferred to the secondary school. Not recommended. Please don't send your child. This place is also dirty and vandalized.

The school would have been great and all if it wasn't for the students attending the school. When I first entered Azalea Middle School I thought it was going to be a blast. Oh boy how wrong I was. People were always starting fights, cursing [Potty Mouths] , Skipping, Bulling, Teasing, Mocking, Horse Playing, and heck a lot more horrible things. I'm glad I won't be attending this school next year. I definitely don't recommend you putting your kid in this School unless your kid want to get hurt.

My daughter is a straight A student and having her in this school was a major disappointment! We had to pull her out of this school today due to the lack of cooperation from the principal. My daughter was jumped and beaten by a very large girl whom is one of the schools bullies. After my wife went down to have the child punished or expelled, the little thug keyed all the way down the side of my wifes new Lexus. Anyhow, not much was done.... About a week ago five girls attemped to jump my daughter after several threats. The girls were suspended and came back yesterday ( March 1st ) and threatened her again- A conference was set up between the girls and afterwards thet were sent back to class- Free of and disciplinary action... I cannot believe how bad our wonderful state of Florida's education system has gotten...

I go to Azalea, and I can not STAND IT. The people are rude, and the disruptive students get off with 'warnings' no matter what they do. Most of the teachers are good, but they DO NOT get the respect they deserve while they teach, and it really disgusts me. There are tons of fights, and many students are pushed around and harassed in the hallways. Seriously, PLEASE don't curse your kid by sending them here.

I know that is one of the best schools I ever went to. I am a former student that graduated from there and I now go to the criminal justice Acdamey at Pinellas Park High School and I just wanted to say that the teachers do care about you and when they see that you are stuggling they try their hardest to help out on a educational/personal part. My friends and I always say if there was an Azalea High School I would soooo go there. we miss our teachers and the school it self. My brother is now going there and he is having the time of his life.

My child attended Azalea Middle, and my sister in law taught there for 4 years. I can personally say that the school lacks a lot of discipline. The students do not learn anything because the teachers do not have control of the classrooms. Students are very disrespectful to the teachers. Quite frankly speaking, administration is to blame for all these problems. Administration has this discipline system called Positive Behavior Support, which in the end only abuses the teachers even more. Students that do want to learn are unable to do so because the teachers are too busy dealing with discipline issues. If you want your child to learn, do not send him/her to Azalea Middle!

My son attends this school. We will be transferring him out for 2007/2008. It is the worst school. The teachers will not communicate with parents when asked. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible.
