A superb principal leads an outstanding staff of professionals. The children learn in a supportive, Christian community and excel once they move on due to the quality of the foundation given at this great school. i recommend this school to all parents of children pre-K through 8th grade!

St. Joe's is a special place, full of wonderful and caring teachers. The families are amazing and there is a true sense of community here. People who have left can trash it all they want, they just won't admit that they have left for economic reasons. Mrs. Preston is an amazing principal.

I graduated a few years ago. I went to st. joes K-8 and it was a great school to grow up in. Sure it had a few cons but what school doesnt? I met a great group of friend there that I still have today. The teachers were great (shout out to Miss. Kesler) and band was so much fun. If i could i would go back and do it all over agian.

My children, my husband, and I love St. Joe's. It is truly a special place. People who have given it bad reviews obviously must have had a bad experience that has led them to say unkind things about this wonderful place. It is true that they have had some recent turnovers in teachers and administration, but I think they've gotten it right with Mrs. Preston. She is an amazing person and we are so blessed to have her as out principal. The middle school is extremely challenging and the kids are really getting a good education. We have some new teachers who really know what they're doing. I am so happy with the elementary school is full of loving and gifted teachers. Yes, our enrollment is down, as it is in every private school during these rough economic times. But the people who have stayed are happy and committed to Catholic

Most of the teachers are descent, but the leadership in the last years have ruined the school. The principle, Mrs. Summas has made promises she cannot keep for the school, and she should have never been hired. Entrollment is dropping, and most don't expect the school to keep running for much longer. The only reason anyone would stay is the excellent band program, that is sadly suffering from the lack of leadership and knowledge from the administration.

I am a principal myself and have had the opportunity to meet and see Ms. Summas in action. From my perspective, St. Joseph's is very fortunate to have a dedicated and caring principal as she is. She is very professional at all times and has great leadership skills. Obviously, all principles are challenged with meeting the needs of all stakeholders and parents, but in reality there will be some parents at every school not happy with a school's response to every situation. St. Joseph's is very lucky to have an administrator such as Ms. Summas!
