Hi Guys My Cousin Went To WestPine And I Live IN The Sunrise Area I Might BE Going There For Sixth Grade And They Have WOnderful Activities You Can Do There The Teachers Are Good And She Had A Honors Class That She Loved So I DO KNow A Lot About The Because OF Her So The School Is Not Just A Great SChool Its The Best School To Send Your Child To.

Hi I'm A Student Who Goes to Westpine And The school is Great. There Are Alot Of Great Teachers There To Help You Succeed. Thier Teaching Skills Are Excellent. Parents Should Really Check this School Out. There Is Alot Of Afterschool Activities For Students To Try. There's Basketball, Track, Reading Club, Math Club, And Soccer.

I am a parent of a 6th grader who is in all adavnced classes and loves it. She states she "travels" with the same kids all day, for which she is thankful for. There are many afterschool activities for the students to participate in, if they choose. I am a very involved parent at the schol who also works full time, but I always find the time to help. Maybe this makes the difference for my daughter and her level of education.

I was a student myself at this school and now my son is. The problem I encountered then is the same problem that I encounter now. The lack of respect that the teachers have for the students. I think that the teachers have more gratification expressing their authority than giving students an education. I would give this school a below average rating however I am sure this school may have a few teachers that enjoy teaching more so than reprimanding.

I am a parent and I have been very pleased with Westpine Middle. The administrative staff is wonderful. Most teachers are very concerned and supportive. The school is safe. My main concerns are the lack of parent involvement and the Florida budget crisis that is adversely impacting the public schools.

westpine is an amazing school! this is my 2nd year! im in 7th grade! the teachers are super nice! iv had my problems with one but you can handle them! westpine has been an 'a' school for a while now and out staff is amazing. they care about everyoe and always helps you when u need something! westpine is amazing! point blank!

I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS SCHOOL. My son had more home work at the elementary school then he has now at West Pine middle school. I think the last math homework he had a few WEEKS AGO! Most of the teachers are not putting the grades into the pinnacle, and you don t know nothing about it until it s the end of the semester. Terrible! The same with the request of conference with the teachers, nobody ever call you Back! I have no idea how this school gets an A ?!

I went here for 6th, and i loved it. At first, i wasnt to good with my classes, but a month later when we changed, i loved it. i made amazing friends, and the teacherrs care.

My child is in the gifted program and three of her glasses have only the dozen or so gifted students. These are my child's favorite classes. Westpine is serving their gifted students well. The teachers and staff support their principal and this speaks volumns for the talent and skill of this leader. The school now has a moderate dress code that has improved security of this campus dispite the school boards attempts to elimate uniform policies. I have been impressed with this schools progress under the principal's capable leadership.

The academic programs are scarce but good. Also all the extracuricular activities are awesome! And the level of parent involvement is also scarce.

Academic programs very average, I don't see challenges and motivation for the kids. There is not dress code at all, kids wear weathever they want. Lunch: Very poor quality of the food.

I am very well pleased with the administrators and faculty at Westpines Middle. The administrator appears to be very caring and professional about the students and faculty. The staff appears to work together as a team effort for the betterment of the children. The security of the school is highly monitored and secured. The school is an 'A' school according to the state of Florida department of education this year. Congratulations Westpines and we appreciate your efforts in respecting that every child has a right to learn.

I am extremely disappointed with Westpine. I have a son there now and a daughter who has gone on to high school. My son was in ESE classes until the beginning of the 2002 - 2003 school year. I was informed by him, at the beginning of the school year that he was no longer in any ESE classes. Never was this discussed with me, nor was I informed that it was going to happen. He had an attendence problem from the beginning. I was told by the Vice-Principal to call him when I had a problem. I left several messages, witn no response. It wasn't until the second half of the year that there was any intervention from the school. I had left numerous messages to discuss varoius problems with counselors, teachers and the Vice-Principal and never received return phone calls. I set up a conferennce with all of his teachers, one of whom specifically requested it. He never showed up. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of response and help given by everyone at this school.
