Sabal Palm Elementary School

I have been to 3 different schools in Tallahassee and this one by far is the best one.. They are great with pre-k and kindergarten. and my oldest is in 2nd and she is loving it.. The work is harder, but it all works out in the end!!!! GREAT SCHOOL!

This year the efforts of dedicated teachers, staff, parents and students at Sabal Palm have bee rewarded by an Florida School Grade of 'A'! Mrs. Stokely, the principal is wonderful and caring. She goes out of her way to accomodate the needs of her students and their families!

My child was sad to leave the school. The staff, and administration really do demonstrate a caring attitude. The principal works hard to find solutions to problems.

This school has many extra acdemic programs available for students. But students at this school have extrememe behavior problems which can cause difficulties for teachers trying to teach students.

My child is a second grader at this school and he has had two excellent teachers while there. Both dedicated and showed that they really cared about his learning and always pushed him the extra mile. I have to give credit to both of them for all their great work and efforts. Ms. Calderon and Ms. Joseph are the best!

Sabal Palm is an excellent school. The teachers are excellent. My child's teacher took the extra time to work with her and would include me in all the decision making concerning my child's learning. Sabal Palm is a wonderful school and I recommend it to any parent.

Sabal Palm is a great school. My daughter has learned so much this year I'm very proud of her teacher she is one of a kind 3 cheers for Ms. Frye's Kindergarten.

I worked at Sabal Palm last year as an AmeriCorps mentor! This was the best experience of my life. This school has an outstanding staff/environment. The teachers are friendly and concerned about the welfare of the students. Mrs. Stokely and Mrs. Jones are the best administrators that I have seen. They are fun, friendly,compassionate, and focused. This is an ideal school for any child. Two thumbs up!

Sabal Palm is a great school. My daughter loves it & so do I. She has had great teachers, and I've enjoyed working with them volunteering in the classroom, they weren't just teachers they care about the kids and their well-being outside of school as well. I'm looking forward to another great year at Sabal Palm 2003-2004. The principal & assistant principal is always friendly with smiles to greet the parents and children. The afterschool program is great too! Thumbs up to Ms. Trisha Reed & others who assist her with the program. Thanks! Sabrl Palm Keep up the good work!

The FCAT 2.0 is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Florida. The FCAT 2.0 has 5 achievement levels, with level 1 being the lowest and level 5 the highest. Florida considers scores of level 3 and higher to be on or above grade level. The goal is for all students to score at or above level 3.
