Before we started the year off with a bunch of work, the teachers took surveys on the style of learning that each student excels with. The part I was impressed with though was that the teachers actually tried to teach each of the different ways so that every student understood the material.
If their is a student in the class that has mastered a concept before the rest of the class they greatly enjoy students to share their ideas and to lead the other kids to a greater understanding Der standing if possible.
Teachers at this school don't play around and they make sure every student has the concept of the cirriculum down before they move on. But if for some reason a few students don't get the concept of what is being taught then the teacher moves on with the majority of the class and puts them on an assignment while they take the time to explain it to the kids who don't understand.
Teachers here are strict on homework and it's mainly due to the curriculum that they have to teach. Each assignment is worth alot of points and if the student fails to do an assignment it can really drop that students grade. So the teachers push the students to do their homework to the best of their ability. In my opinion this is one of the best qualities of stewart
I am a former student from stewart and this school is the best I have ever been to! The academic qualities of the school are outstanding and I loved how ever teacher pushed you to do your best. Truly a fantastic school!:)
They open the locker to my son and vandalized his books. In my investigation they told me that this situation happens offen. I do not understand why the principal did not solve this situation so unpleasant and frustrating.
These teenagers will vandalize the school campus if they do not control them.
I Love, love, love, love, love this school!!! When I first reviewed it for my son's 6th grade year, this site gave a rating of 6. Because of all this school has to offer however, I overlooked the low rating. I was right, this school has encouraged, motivated, and matured my son a great deal. He has learned so much, and is actually on the National Honors Society. I love all that this school has to offer, and only wish I could find the same or similar for my 7 year old daughter.
In response to the Grad Night comment, it was Busch Gardens that cancelled Grad Night and wouldn't reschedule. The School tried. And although I understand the idea of Grad Night, it should not be what a School is judged on.
