Dont know much about the elementary side of this school. I do know that they have many subpar teachers in the middle to high school grades. Too many new or 1st year teachers, because the previous ones were let go. A principal who will remain nameless, who does not care about the parents. Only interest is the money$$$$ I am not returning to this school. IMHO

We've been at Citrus Park for 6 years and have loved it. The teachers and administration care about every child, not only from an educational stand point, but also their social and emotional development. You won't find a more nurturing school anywhere.

My child is in the ESE program at Citrus Park, and the care and instruction that he has received from everyone including the office staff has been phenomenal. I always rave about this school to anyone who will listen, because it is rare to find so many people in one place who truly care about the well being and happiness of our children.

I truly believe that this school is a wonderful place for my childern to get their education. The teachers and the administration team are always pleasant and helpful. This school has a great collection of caring teachers who are genuinly concerned about your childs achievments. Great Enviroment! The school houses a early intervention class for 3-5 yr old students who have learning disabilities, i.e. Spectrum Disorders. I've been absolutly amazed by the support and care given to my child and family by his teacher.

I have found both the teachers and administration staff to be of high quality. They seem to really take an interest in the well being and academic progress of the students. I was also very pleasantly surprised to find more parental involvement than I expected.

Wonderful teachers and caring principal. These teachers take personal time to attend to each student individually. Very overcrowded, unfortunately.

I love this school! I have been pleased with the education that my child has received thus far. Dr. Bookman is an excellent principal. I would highly suggest that parents get involved and know the teachers. As with any school, there are some teachers I would not personally recommend, but overall the teaching staff is excellent. I should note that I was tough on the 1 to 5 grading. I am a firm believer that there is always room for improvement. Please also note that this is the only elementary school that I am familiar with and therefore I have nothing to compare it to. That said, I would highly recommend Citrus Park Elementary. My child has had great learning experiences and parents are encouraged to be involved and are appreciated for the time and energy they give to the school.
