The staff at Kenly Elem. are very dedicated and are making every effort to strive for success at this school, including the Principal and Assistant Principal.

Two of my children attend this school. This school needs a complete overhaul, or to be shut down. By complete I mean in every aspect. I have another child that will start school next year. I will not allow them to attend here anymore.

Kenly is the worst school from the teachers to the principle. My child came to that school making straight A's and now my child is make B's and C's. Most of the teacers cannot control their classrooms and it distracts the rest of the class. I am taking my kids out of this school and I don't care how far I have to drive

Luckily I can't second the negative entries from above. My child has only attended the first semester at Kenly thus far, but....I'm all 'thumbs up' about the school, her teacher and the curriculum. I've not had any direct experience with the principal and have therefore no opinion about her, I do however wish there was more offered with regard to extracurricular activities - not just at the school but also surrounding areas.

My four children has attended this scholl since Headstart and when the previouse principal was there it was an A plus school. But since the new principal has taken over she has taken the joy out ofd learning for my children. They used to love attending school but that has changed. The principal has taken the fun out of fundimentals and has also pretty much taken this school and flipped it completely upside down from what the previouse principal had it.

This school is a disappointment. When the previous principal was there this school was loved by her. Never can I remember a parent having a conflict with her she is top notch and made the parents and teachers feel the same.

I am very disappointed with this school. My son has attended there 5 years and I have had nothing but problems with the teaching there and the new principal for the past year. We recently moved and the main reason we relocated is to find a better school. They need to be reevaluated.

I am military, so we move quite a bit. my children have been in at least 5 different schools and this one has been by far the worst of all of them. The teacher did not listen to parent concerns. Extracurricular activities were virtually non-existent. I am moving and the sole reason is to get out of this school district zone.

My son has been here for 2 years, and overall it is a good school. It is small which creates a nice family type atmosphere. There aren't alot of extra curicular activities, but reading programs are a priority here.
