This Elementary School is a wonderful place for my child. The teachers all care very much and my student is full of confidence! Last year we lived in another county and my child was very quiet, kept to himself. This year he has tons of friends and believes in himself! I could not be happier.

I believe the school and staff are great! What parents fail to realize is that you cant put the blame on the school and teachers when there is no parent involvement at home. Teaching begins at home. Remember it takes a whole village to raise a child!

It's a very good school, the staff is polite, knowledgeable. The school has a very safe and fun atmosphere. My child has been enrolled at Oak Grove Elem since kindergarten, now he's a 3rd grader and through all the ups and downs every single teacher he had helped him become a better student and achieve his goals.

I have a nephew who is in the ESE program at Oak Grove. I am also a teacher in Hillsborough County. I do not feel that the teachers work to his benefit. He is autistic and there are characteristics of this disability that the teachers do not have the capacity to tolerate or teach. I am very disappointed.

I love this school. My little girl has just started her first year there and loves it. She has already learned so much. Not to mention I went to the same school many years ago when it was a 7th grade center. The classrooms are so big and nice.

Oak Grove is a great facility (as evidenced by its 'A' grade from the state) and has a history of doing great things for the children and the surrounding community.

The major problem I have encountered with this school is the current principal. She treats parents and teachers alike in an unethical manner and lacks people skills. Thus creating tension in the classrooms and with parents alike. Do to the 'boot camp' mentality the principal imposes on the school and disregard for teachers, parents and students alike, I certainly would not recommend this school to anyone.
