I am in 6th grade and I LOVE THIS SCHOOL! It has really nice teachers, no uniforms, great elective courses, and not a lot of homework(like TCMS). It does have some bullies but you can keep away from them. I have learned a lot this year!

I really did not like this school. Indeed, i only did like it for my friends from my previous elementary school. Too much bullying. One kid in my old p.e class was a big bully. He hit my friend with a golden chain, and made him bleed. i told the p.e teacher. You know what happened? NOTHING! The bully came the next day. I have also seen him hit my friends. Classes are too large, teachers and administrators just DONT CARE! Its ridiculous. i came here in 6th grade, but now i am in 7th grade, and a former student at TCMS (A good school.) Please send your kids there if you REALLY want them to have the best education possible. Thanks.
This school has excellent teachers strong principal leadership vary challenging programs I can't wait to go back
This is my son`s first year in this school and I am nicely impressed about organization and discipline. Also, staff is very open to discuss issues about your kid.

Benito Middle School is wonderfully awesome. I am currently attending this school and I think it is really good. The teachers are great, the music program is really fun and cool and basically, the whole environment of Benito MS is very excellent.

benito middle school is great and we couldnt be happier with it. the teachers are very caring and they help the students as much as they can. we have just came hear from a small town school in texas and my son loves it here more than anything

The classes here at Benito are large, and not all the teachers are teaching. There are no elective classes, and the Outstanding band program is dwindiling along with the other electives. Although the change in principles was good, The administration lacks involvement, and seemingly could care less about the student body. Im glad to be out of this dump of a school!

This is an average school. If you want the best for your child you should'nt send you child here. It isnt the worst depending upon what team you are placed in. I went to this school in 6th grade. My parents were dissapointed with my fcat scores so they moved me to another school. the location of this school does make it seem very good. But the discpline, studies, and teachers are not good at all. The teachers do not spend to much time on indivdual students.

Big dissapointment! The school location makes you believe that this is a great school. There is no discipline, and the staff answer is 'there is nothing we can do about it'. The principal is not active enough and there are too many bullies and thieves. I have spend a lot of many replacing my son's school items, even his gym clothes, if you can beleive it.

i am an 8th grader at bms and ive been going there since 6th grade. the school could use some improving, and some cleaning up. Especially the student bathrooms. i also think the whole locker deal is ridiculous. it is so hard to get to your locker when there are two people on top of you, three people to your right, and your left. it is nearly impossible. also the gym locker rooms could use some major cleaning up. the lockers should be bigger, and not so close together, so we could actually get to them without getting books and school supplies dropped on my head.

Benito is an excellent school. It has great teachers, great leadership, and a fantastic music program. I would recommend putting your student in this school because if you want your son to go to a great high school this would be it.

I had two students attending and we decided to move them to a better environment academically and with more extracurricular activities. We were incredibly disappointed since we moved here from out of state and chose our neighborhood based on school ratings. Do not be fooled into thinking Benito is a good school because it received an 'A' rating. The classes are positively too large, the teachers seem completely overwhelmed, and I did not feel they had the time or the resources to adequately challenge my kids. There is also a a great deal of variance between the teams. I am just grateful that I was involved enough to see some of the problems early enough to move my children before they themselves had any problems.

The level of parental involvment is high. The administrative staff is very aware of the students in the school. There doesn't seem to be enough emphesis on homework. Bullying is prevelant, but is dealt with quickly.
